Best hotel in Natal, hands down
This hotel is awesome. If you're coming from the English speaking world, stay here. I had some of the best food at the hotel restrauant, especially the matuto metido a besta!! Top 3 dishes ive ever had in my life and i travel a lot. Bed was large and comfortable, shower and bathroom also great, plus perfect view of the beach +pool. My wife and I stayed there on our wedding night. This hotel is a hidden gem and is also very safe. They also contacted me after i left to inform me that i forgot my charger and would hold it for me until i returned to Natal in a few days. Great work to all hotel staff, restaurant, and hotel manager for creating a wonderful environment and comfortable stay.

We pre-paid for an ocean view in the front of the hotel facing the beach and we ended up getting a view of the road and a parking lot. The hotel refused to do anything about it and didn’t care at all to fix the problem. The room we had was also facing a bar across the street that had very loud music that played early until late. The breakfast was terrible, not many options and the hot options are only upon request. They don’t do a good job on what they cook either. All the eggs we ordered were burnt and very greasy. The location is not that great and far away from shops and restaurants. The beds are uncomfortable and very old. I would never stay here again and definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. They advertise pictures of their best rooms and give you something completely different.

I loved the place and everything it offered. I had one problem with the front staff, because I came in the morning and my checking was supposed to start at 2pm, so I tried to get my room earlier since I was more than 24hs without sleep. They didn't have my room available and it was ok for me. I knew my checking should be at 2pm, the problem is that the guy told me thag they would prioritize my room so I would be able to checking earlier, but guess what? They finish all the rooms at the same time 2pm, and did not prioritize anything, but kept saying that my room was almost done. Come on guys, just say no. It is better than upset your customers with a false promise.

Dear customer, Thank you for your review! We loved to know you liked our hotel. Actually our front desk always try to help but when we are fullybooked its not possible. All the guests can stay in their rooms until noon so thats why we say "we will try" because we dont know exactly what time they will leave and after that the room needs to be cleaned... We apologise if it caused you any problem.

A gem! We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed this hotel in every respect. We arrived at 0330 after a delayed flight and had an effortless check-in. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection including cooked eggs. We had probably the best room in the hotel with ocean views and a balcony with a hammock. The bed and bathroom facilities were excellent. The only downside is that the beach is tidal and really only accessible in a falling and low tide. The hotel staff set up beach chairs and umbrellas on request! A lovely pool and attentive staff.

A good 3 stars not a 4 stars
It is a nice hotel, a good 3 stars but definetely not a 4 stars hotel. My tv didn’t work for my 5 nights stay, I was complaining every day. The answer was always that they are checking but not even once they came to the room to check it. The shower was good, the room was small, the hotel is old but nice. The restaurant is good and with a very good service.

I love this hotel, the staff are wonderful and there is art everywhere you look. A wonderful breakfast and the ocean view rooms are spectacular.

Nice hotel with great staff and next to the beach
Great service. Very good breakfast. I didn't try the restaurant but it has a great reputation. My room was dark with literally no view, so this part was disappointing. Next to the beach and to the 'calçadão', if you enjoy running or walking.

The best hotel we stayed in!
This was by far the most charming hotel we stayed during our visit to Brazil. We would have stayed there longer but had plans to visit other beaches. Our 3 day stay was perfect! The staff, food, and rooms were outstanding. But the decor is what makes this hotel very special. Access to the beach is easy. The pool was great! We had a Rio with a view to the ocean. Well worth it! Parking is tricky if you are driving, but do not let this stop you from coming to this hotel. It is worth any trouble. I definitely recommend it.

Long Weekend in Natal
Spent a five day long weekend at the Manary Praia Hotel. The hotel was a highlight of the trip. The location on the Malecon, the pool, the restaurant and the proximity to restaurants, bars and shopping was great. The hotel staff were amazing, continually going out of their way to make our stay great. I look forward to going back.

Excellent hotel very close to Ponta Negra Beach
Excellent hotel very close to the best bit of Ponta Negra Beach ( nice waves, where the Surfers are). Good selection of food and excellent wines, but also close to the best restaurants in Ponta Negra/Natal if you want to eat out. We also had a spa treatment which was inexpensive and very good and relaxing. The breakfast buffet is excellent and you can order local specialities like tapioca pancake with local cheese or ham. The room was large with a nice hammock on the veranda overlooking the sea. This is the second time we have stayed at the the Manary Praia, and once again we had a great time. Thank you Manary Praia!

Best hotel in North East Brazil
We were visiting friends in Natal. The location was in the heart of Ponta Negra beach. The hotel appointments were wonderful; original and local art all over the hotel. Breakfast was fresh and superb. The bed was a true king size bed and actually the most comfortable bed I've slept in, in all of South America. They are usually hard. We had chairs and umbrellas on the beach included in our stay. The restaurant on site is spectacular.

Hotel of choice in Natal
I stayed at the hotel on business. Whilst the hotel is fairly small it had all the facilities that I needed. I had a couple of business meeting at the hotel and used the business centre to print and scan documents. The staff were all very helpful and I could not have wished for a better place to stay in Natal. WiFi worked perfectly in my room, at the bar and throughout the hotel food and drink were all very good

I stayed at Manary Praia for 4 nights, visiting Natal and the region on business. The hotel was ideal. I tend to avoid large corporate hotels as I prefer boutique and small. Manary Praia was ideal, overlooking the beach with easy access. The hotel staff were all very friendly and whilst not fluent in English spoke far more English than my Portuguese. Breakfasts were good with a god selection of hot and cold stuff plus eggs, omelettes and other bits and pieces coked to order. Other food - lunch and dinner were very good. If I had to return to Natal I would return to Manary Praia without hesitation

This hotel is one of the most beautiful on Ponta Negra, both the design of the hotel and the views it offers from the terrace. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel on a pristine beach.
Booked a sea view room which was beautiful, clean and well supplied. I was slightly disappointed that the sea view room I booked overlooked the road with only a slight glimpse of the sea.. The outdoor bar was beautifully lit and reasonably priced.

Great Pousada in Pipa!
We loved Manary Praia! It was such a nice pousada to stay at - in fact, the nicest one of our trip to the northeast region. The pool area and swim up bar were very nice, the inside bar and restaurant were perfect for the setting. WiFi was accessible from the restaurant/bar, which was convenient enough. Location was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are American, not everyone spoke english, but everyone tried, and we got by with a mix of english and some Spanish. I definitely recommend as a nice place to stay in Pipa.

Muy bien , el hotel está algo anticuado de mobiliario, pero todo cómodo y todo funciona. El restaurante muy bueno!! El desayuno espectacular. El personal muy amable . Salvo un mozo del restaurante que no nos gustó porque se paró al lado nuestro presionándonos para que pidiéramos sin dejarnos elegir y después no vino más y nos atendió otro muy amablemente.

Otimo, mas café da manhã decepcionante
O hotel é muito bom. Quarto confortável, area de piscina excelente, com uma linda vista da praia da ponta negra e do morro do careca, ótima localização (ainda que sair a pé gere um pouco de insegurança e tem que enfrentar grande ladeira pra chegar na rua principal). O restaurante é maravilhoso, um dos melhores que experimentamos em Natal. O único ponto fraco é o cafe da manhã, que foi uma decepção. Muito limitado. Pouquíssimos itens. E as poucas coisas disponíveis nao sao boas (sempre o mesmo bolo, todos os dias, que nao era gostoso, paes duros...). O cafe precisa melhorar muito. Foi a grande decepção da hospedagem e nao corresponde ao restante do padrao do hotel.

A hospedagem foi ótima de uma maneira geral. O atendimento e os funcionários merecem uma especial deferência pela cordialidade, atenção e carinho. Não poderia deixar de mencionar o Percival e o Pedro. Em nome deles agradecemos aos demais. Em relação a pousada, nos atendeu perfeitamente, local bastante privativo, utilização da área de piscina exclusiva para os hóspedes, o restaurante continua ótimo, assim como o café da manhã, servido a lá carte. Sem barulho de música ou hidro ginástica para atrapalhar. Hotel perfeito para adultos que procuram tranquilidade. A título de sugestão: como já é um hotel mais antigo, seria bom para melhorar a experiência dos hóspedes, uma melhoria no enxoval, e na cama.
