Dining

Atlantis offers more than 35 restaurants, bars, and lounges as well as poolside snack/beverage carts. The following restaurants are located at The Cove Atlantis:

Mesa Grill - Award-winning chef and TV personality Bobby Flay brings his vibrant Southwestern cuisine to his first restaurant outside the United States. The design, by renowned architect David Rockwell, features vivid primary colors and Southwestern motifs. Guests enjoy direct views of the beach and ocean; some outdoor seating is available. The bar includes a terrazzo-and-seashell counter, flanked by columns of river rock. Dinner only.

Mosaic - This Mediterranean-influenced restaurant features “action cooking” stations to prepare dishes on demand, from fresh fish to churrasco steak. Designed by Jeffery Beers, Mosaic embraces natural light, which plays off the polished chrome, wenge wood, and limestone. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

The Cove Pool Café - Bistro-table and chaise-longue service. Fresh fare including sashimi bento boxes, ceviche, gourmet burgers and wraps, smoothies, full bar service. Outdoor gaming pavilion with blackjack and mini-craps. Located by main pool.

Cascades Grill - Located by Cascades Pool. Hot and cold wraps, barbecued pork, seasonal salads, jerked meats, and frozen drinks.

Notable restaurants elsewhere at the Atlantis Resort include:

Nobu - First Caribbean outpost of famed Nobu restaurant. Created by celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Cutting-edge Japanese cuisine with Bahamian influences. Sushi bar, sake cellar. Located off the Atlantis Casino.

Casa D'Angelo - Top-rated, Florida-based restaurant showcasing Tuscan cuisine. Freshly made pastas, specialties prepared in wood-burning ovens, outstanding wine list, traditional Italian desserts.

Seafire - Contemporary steakhouse featuring grilled meats, fresh fish, and signature dish: Spit-Roasted Prime Rib. Mosaic flooring, high ceilings, amber-glass lighting. Located in Marina Village.

“6th Trip”

This is my 6th visit to Atlantis and 5th stay at The Cove. I prefer the calm & serene vibe at The Cove when we are heading out for the day or coming in from the night. The main part of Atlantis is usually too crowded with guests and cruise ship visitors. Yes it is expensive and yes about 50% of the staff are not friendly. This personally doesn't bother me as I typically am not a high maintenance traveler and don't require a lot of staff interaction. I know what to expect and I don't let it bother me. We will go back again next year. The only negative I have is that they don't offer any special upgrades or perks for frequent guests. But there again, it doesn't stop me from going and I'm sure they know it. Just go & enjoy yourself!

“Paradise but very costly”

We had a great price for hotel and airlines. The food was super expensive and not any reasonable places to eat. Casino was OK but not Las Vegas. Most of the dealers make up for it by being very sociable, in fact all the service people were extremely nice. A great place for kids with the great water park but I don't know how families afford it. Very relaxing.

Area recommendations
Atlantis It has many different hotels and a ssuper shuttle service to get around.

“Wonderful stay!”

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Cove and it was one of the nicest hotels I've ever been to. The staff is so polite and helpful. I don't really have anything negative to say about the hotel. The only thing I wished is that there were more restaurants there to choose from. I definitely will stay here again if I come back in the future!

“Great Experience”

The only complaint is the bedding. For the price and quality of the hotel, the bed was horrible to sleep on. It was way to firm. I would expect a pillow top bed with some give, it was like sleeping on plywood. Otherwise, the service was great and the hotel was beautiful.

“An outstanding hotel, cannot wait to go back!!”

Having stayed at the Atlantis in Dubai, I expected the facilities on offer here to be more dated, but could not be more wrong!! The Cove was incredibly modern, and no aspects of the resort showed any signs of being dated or tired. We stayed at the resort for 8 nights with 2 children aged 2 & 4. The childrens pool was absolutely perfect for them, clean and kept them entertained for ages! Many of the restaurants had kids menus, although some of the more exclusive restaurants did not allows reservations with kids after 6pm, which seemed reasonable. Plenty of other activities with the speedway (remote controlled car racing), and the shallow water dolphin interaction, which was amazing!! Overall, an amazing resort with extensive restaurants and facilities. Only downsides would be the attitudes of some of the staff, who are often uninterested and chatting amongst themselves. A stark contrast to the Dubai resort where they cannot do enough for you!! The other would be the cost, there is no escaping that this resort is EXPENSIVE!! Even though youngest ate free, breakfast for my husband, son and I would be $80 ish after tips. But guess is expected at a resort like this, but overall experience is worth it!!

“Perfect spot for a caribean get away”

Our family needed some r&r and the cove @ atlantis delivered. Our boys ages 17,14 loved the water park & my husband & I loved the peacefu beach & area pools . The cove even upgraded our room & sent up a complimentary fridge which came in handy for our own in room drinks/snacks since we were trying not to tap into their well stocked mini fridge. It is possible to go and not break the bank . Great restaurants all around to suit a variety of budgets . Highly recommend it !

Family-friendly activities
Snorkeling the ruins - boys loved this . Also rented jet skis from locals / beware this can be a scene ! Be prepared they may argue w/each other over your business . Just hold your ground and bargain for a better price.

“The COVE... RESERVE! RESERVE!!!!”

It was a great place, very beautiful but the exclusive pool to the cove was a joke. You had to reserve a chair!!! Dinner reservations two days in advance are a must if you want to eat at any of the overpriced restaurants. The buffets at the cove are better than at the Royal Towers, but are $$$$ better relax and enjoy it. Overall the resort is more family oriented and a better place for groups. The water slides are awesome and included with your stay!

“Atlantis Cove”

there were issues with rudeness of some of the staff, and also with security reservations for many of the restaurants at the site, the cost of meals, and the shuttle transportation to/from the airport
