    “Great stay !”

    Enjoyed our stay very much. Most of the staff were very nice and helpful. Food venders were not pleasant on the bottom floor, were they sell salads, drinks, need to be more courteous. Overall Great hotel would recommend this hotel to friends.

    Area recommendations
    Downtown was nice, felt very safe, lots of police presence.
    Getting around
    Cab service was good and helpful.

    “Sheraton”

    This Hotel has been built in 1983. Management keeps it in good and clean condition. Pool area and beach are beautiful! Staff is friendly. When we arrived towels were missing but they brought them immediatly as my wife asked. Breakfast and lunch buffet are very good but expensive. i'll give 5 stars to this Hotel because we spent one of the best of our vacation on Caribbean. As i understand in 2014 Baha Mar will be build in this location, so this place going to beat Atlantis.

    “Good hotel for a 2-night stay”

    Negatives: - long walk to the rooms from beach/lobby - food is very expensive, get a pile of 20 $ bills to stay here - horrible beach towel policy; can't return towels in the room - no micro-wave and refrigerator in the room - no wi-fi in the rooms - not so courteous staff - no vegetarian food options in the buffets Positives: + early check-in and late check-out accepted + para-sailing, jet ski activities available on the beach + good enough hotel if you are visiting for a 2 night stay. Can't stay more than 2-nights.

    “This isn't the Atlantis...that's why I like it!”

    It's away from all the touristy stuff, but not too far. The beach is nice and quiet. You can walk from your room right to the beach. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. The bed is comfy, the room is clean and you get complimentary Starbucks coffee in the room. The buffets are nice if you don't want to leave the hotel. Try to get a deal that gives a food discount coupon. All the island food is pricey. Make sure and take the jutney to Fish Fry for cracked conch!

    “A very pleasant stay”

    We booked this hotel for a 4 night stay over the Thanksgiving period and were pleased with pretty much all we found. Rooms as good as would be expected for a hotel of this rating, and the restaurants and poolside bars and cafes served good food and staff were very attentive. Only thing to be aware is that Cable Beach is a good 10-15 min cab ride from Nassau/

    “Long time customer”

    We have stayed at this Sheraton several times and have been staying on Cable Beach for over 25 years. The Sheraton has the most consistent as it relates to the service, quality and atmosphere. The pool area is terrific. THe rooms are excellent with very good quality air-conditioning. The business center is very good as well. I wish they had more of a restaurant selection on site. Also the Casino is not being kept up due to the pending renovation. Very few minimum tables or quarter slots. Crap tables were closed two nights. Not condusive to gambling. It was dead.

    Dining
    Limited at the Sheraton, only Amici's (fair). Wyndham has Black Angus which is good (it used to be great!) The West Bay was not good. Better dining off site.
    Nightlife
    Casino was dead, no action. limited tables few minimum bet tables. Hardley any quarter slots. It appears they want your money and are keeping things as is until the renovation is compoleted. I have been coming here over 25 years and the Casino used to be fun. No Show in the Theatre. Music one night only.

    “Very Good Hotel”

    The hotel is clean and comfortable. The beach and pools are great. Plenty of lounge chairs around. The hotel is far from Atlantis and not much night life in the surrounding area of the hotel. There is a good casino next door. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a good place to get away for some R&R.

    “Great stay!”

    I had a great experience at Sheraton...especially buying the package from Expedia, which saved some money at the Hotel and the taxes... It only would be great if they have wireless at the bedrooms...
