All Inclusive Review

Posted 20-Jan-2015
Pros: The food for an all inclusive was good!
Cons: Renovate the hotel. It is OLD and tired.
Location: Cable beach. Good location.
For an all inclusive resort the food was really pretty good (shockingly enough), the room was clean and the beach was very nice. The hotel itself is dated and needs renovation and updating. Everything there is OLD... The pools were in pretty bad condition but swimmable. Overall the service wasn't too bad but there were a few staff members that really didn't seem like they wanted to be there (snack bar). I don't think anyone would have a problem staying there because it was clean and the food was good. However don't expect the Ritz... Please update the hotel!

Nice hotel by the beach

Posted 20-Jan-2015
Pros: Clean, spacious, friendly staff.
Location: Located very close to the beach and a very easy public transit to downtown.
Greeted by wonderful staff, checkin staff were very pleasant. Rooms are large and very clean. Resort is older but nice, very friendly staff, exceptionally clean, good food and pleanty of it. Exceptionally close to the beach, pools are nice. This was our first All Inclusive and wete more than happy with our stay. Reasonably priced. Would highly recommend Breezes Resort.

Time for an upgrade.

Posted 20-Jan-2015
Overall, we had a good times, Breezes has good food and decent drinks. However, the facility is old and dingy. The pools had worn and stained tiles, the common areas were outdated. The entire place needs complete rehabilitation. Breezes saving grace is that its staff are cordial and friendly.

Breezes Stay

Posted 19-Jan-2015
Pros: Wi-fi through out entire hotel
Cons: Room cleanliness, food
Location: Location was ok, the beach was nice. Close to the fish fry and downtown Nassau
Nothing special stands out about the hotel. It wasn't a horrible experience but it wasn't fantastic either. The staff is relatively friendly and the location is ok. I would not recommend unless you have been to the Bahamas before and you were just looking for someplace to sleep. The only positive thing that I will say is that there is complimentary wifi through out the entire resort. Also, we went for our anniversary and they did send a bottle of champagne to our room which was really thoughtful.

Nice All Inclusive On Directly on the Beach

Posted 12-Jan-2015
Hotel staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on Cable Beach which is a nice, calm beach, with nice clear water. The pool area is also nice, just don't leave your food sitting around or a bird will take it. The hotel was not overly busy, but it's kind of more relaxing that way. The nights liven up a bit with the entertainment provided. It's easy to get to Downtown Nassau, just hop on the #10 bus for 1.25/person and takes about 10 minutes. Remember this is just a 3 star hotel, so don't exceed expectations, it was clean, the food was ok, more variety would be nice. The rooms are a bit noisy but in a tropical location, usually the case. All depends on the people around you and how loud they are.

5 , old hotel and grounds

After 4 days they cut back the trees and bushes and we had the ocean view we paid for! The resort is old and not well kept, but very clean.

We had a great time. The staff was wonderful.

Posted 02-Jan-2015
Pros: It was right on the beach and all inclusive meant we didn't have to plan or budget for meals.
There was plenty to do. I was able to relax and read while my husband and teenage daughter had numerous activities to keep them busy. The beach was gorgeous and the guests and staff were wonderful to interact with. We met people from all over the world.

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Posted 02-Jan-2015
Pros: Beach.
Cons: look at comments
Location: there was nothing nearby. you had to take a taxi to get to anything.
The hotel is old and outdated. There was no immenties in the room so you better have packed everything. The noise level for the screaming band was unbearable. For those that did not want to listen to the band had no option. You could hear across the entire complex....started late and lasted after 12 midnight! Even on our last night we had to be up at 4:15am to catch a flight. No way could you sleep with the noise. Breakfast was ok but they ran out of food just about every morning. The rest of the meals were terrible. The Garden of Eden restaurant was a joke....food bad...service slow...portions small. This is by far the worst all-inclusive place I have ever stayed. Even the drinks were in small cups so you had to continue to go back for more. The coffee cups were the smallest you could get so if you wanted to grab a cup and go....you did not get very far! The price of the hotel was totally inappropriate...significantly overpriced.! not much good to say about the hotel.

Breezes Resort Review

Posted 01-Jan-2015
Pros: location, friendly staff.
Cons: provide bottled water in rooms.
Location: Many water related activities, such as snorkelling, parasailing, diving, jet skiing.
We stayed at Breezes for 3 nights and overall found the resort good value for money. The staff is friendly and made us feel very welcome. The resort is strategically located adjacent to a beautiful blue green bay looking out on a few small islands. The resort offers various amenities such as hot water and cold water pools, table tennis, pool tables and free DRINKS and food all day long. Overall; good value for money and very relaxing. Special mention to Colyn (Porter) who engaged with enthusiasm, passion and excellent service.

Aging hotel on a nice beach

Posted 30-Dec-2014
Pros: Friendly and attentive staff
Cons: See other comments
Location: Location was good--out of the bustle of town but not too far away. When contiguous Baha Mar opens, there will be tons to do next door.
Overall an OK place to stay but rooms are "tired" and need an upgrade. Stair wells which were used a lot we not clean and need new finishes. A fair amount of bureaucratic paperwork. For example to rent a $20 cabana was a hassle involving multiple forms and then taking a form to another place. After paying several thousand dollars for three rooms and an all-inclusive package and then to arrive and be told we had to pay another amount for breakage deposits was extremely off putting.
