Breezes resort is a very nice place with beach

Posted 28-Jul-2014
Pros: I like everything, room, food, drinks, entertainment and so on.....
Cons: I found nothing that needs improvement.
Location: There is a beach near by and easy access to bus 10 to downtown.
I stayed three beautiful nights at breezes resort. I enjoyed it so much I didn't want to come come. Plenty of food and drinks. The staff is very nice. Great entertainment at night. It is a very good place to relax. I love it. There is wifi available so I stayed in contact with my family with no problem.

Quick trip

Needs updating. Quality is a bit low. Will have a hard time competing with new hotels being built. Facilities need face lift and rooms need a revamp. Food was ok.

Very disappointing

Posted 28-Jul-2014
Our stay at Breezes could not have been more disappointing. The hotel was continually running out of various food and liquor....meaning that "all inclusive" really means you get what we have or nothing at all. Our television in our room only got one channel and we did not have a remote control (despite more than a dozen requests). Our hotel room was not cleaned on one of the three days we were there. Our hotel key cards were deactivated and had to be re-activated. The lobby was not air conditioned and all of the facilities were run down and outdated. It was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had and we will NEVER go back.

should have gone to Cancun

Posted 28-Jul-2014
Mix up with reservation after confirming 3x!! Wrong info given which almost made us miss our ride to airport...No one told us that one of the restaurants was closed so we could only dine at one other place...had a hard time making the reservation for that place just to find out they had put us down for 9:30 at night for dinner! Staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience when asking for anything. Activities board listed things that were not happening or we could not find...on and on...

Great location on Cable Beach

Posted 27-Jul-2014
Had an amazing time at Breezes. We look forward to visiting in the future. Perfect location, great activities, food buffet, lunch grill and dinner restaurants. Entertainment was awesome daily and if you want you can go to the club located in the hotel for more fun.

Disappointment

Posted 27-Jul-2014
Not very accommodating. Check in was horrible. They made us wait and when we got our room they gave us the wrong room. No refrigerator in the rooms. The staff wasn't on the same pAge about anything. They did nothing special about my anniversary. When they tried it was way late. The pool didn't look appealing. The Garden of Eden Restuarant was the best thing we experienced.

Ok

I went there with my husband. Hotel was ok but the staff was horrible. They were lazy and not helpful. Hotel is old. We had to change rooms 3 times because they smelled like smoke even though hotel was non smoking.

For the first timers

Posted 24-Jul-2014
For a first timer all inclusive resort the Breezes is comparable. The pool is just steps from most rooms, and the beach is directly past the pool. I recommended getting up Early and renting a cabana on the beach for $20 a day, this includes wait service. Umbrellas all over the beach and pool side are limited, be ready to start grabbing them in the morning. Pool bartenders are great, night bartenders are far slow and spend more time socializing amongst themselves than serving. Average nightly wait time at the bar is 10 minutes. Food is ok, breakfast doesn't change but lunch and dinner does. It's definitely hit or miss. Overall, happy with this first time Caribbean all inclusive experience, however next time I'll be paying a little more to be somewhere else.

Location of this hotel was great!

Posted 24-Jul-2014
Pros: It was all inclusive, I didn't have to carry a purse everywhere I went and it was adult only. children free kayak and wind surfing on site.
Cons: The pool and outside closed too early. I would have liked the outside activities open till at least 9pm. The activities were outdated. Need to update.
Location: I loved the location, was close enough to town and amenities but far enough away to not have hassles of town. Dean & Tony great parasailing-jet ski.
The location was the best part, the hotel was older but seemed to be in pretty good shape. The first issue we had was at check in, took 3 times of standing in line for at least 30 minutes before we actually got into our room. The front desk staff was very pleasant and friendly seemed to try and accommodate irritated guests. The beds were not very comfortable and smelled very musty. TV did not work turned it on and couldn't get it off for the first three nights. Called the front desk 4 times with no results. Finally my husband caught maintenance in the hall and they helped us out. Most of the staff was wonderful. We had some issues with a young man who would not take our beach towels back so we was charged $15 each for them. The bar staff was alright. The staff in the Buffet restaurant was very good, pleasant and helpful as was the cleaning staff. The main areas of the hotel appeared clean and in order. The food in the buffet was good. The piano bar smelled so we could not sit in there for any period of time. The outside area of the hotel seemed to be ok, we did not use the pool. We spent most of our time on the beach. The busses that go into town was the best way to travel, we didn't have to wait long and it only cost$1.25 ea, the first time we took a taxi into town cost us $15 plus tip. Took my husband as a 50th bday trip and to relax. Price was good, hotel was tolerable but wouldn't stay here again. This would be a great place for spring break!
