Low staffed hotel

Posted 27-Jul-2015
The hotel appears to be closing any day. It is low staffed with people who have no resturant management skills. The bar is staffed but the bartenders act like you are interrupting their conversations or arguments. Staff was arguing often and loudly. Customer service is not a high priority. The location is wonderful and the room was clean.

This was our 2nd yr in a row. Everything is right there at hotel, no need to leave unless to go shopping or see the dolphin encounter.

Got What I Paid For

Posted 21-Jul-2015
Pros: The theme of the hotel was charming. The dining staff was also great!
Cons: Housekeeping. Updates to exterior.
Location: Construction of a large hotel right behind Breezes called Baha Mar - the builder ran out of money so it's currently a half built monstrosity.
I got an incredibly inexpensive deal for 4 nights at this hotel...but you get what you pay for. I was assigned the wrong room on arrival. Water pressure in the shower was low. Had to ask front desk and housekeeping 3 times to clean my room on my second day. Food was OK, not impressive.

Very nice hotel

Posted 20-Jul-2015
Pros: The staff service treaded you like Kings and Queens
Cons: Place more chairs on the beach
Location: There wasn't to much to do around the hotel, but inside you could fine things to do.
The staff at this hotel were very friendly and kind went out of their way to please you. The food was excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beach was just steps away from the pool area. I will return to this hotel the next time I go to the Bahamas.

The Best Vacation Ever.Quality Above Expectations

Posted 20-Jul-2015
Pros: Clean, prompt service, prompt response from hotel employees, fun activities.
Cons: Not much
Location: The location was great. Just about 20 minutes from airport. The hotel has a desk in the lobby with activities available off the resort.
Hello, I am a single male, age 54 who was looking for a short trip to the Bahamas. Through Expedia I found Bahamas air from Miami directly to Nassau in addition to three nights at Breezes resort. I traveled Friday, July 3, 2015 through Monday July 6, 2015. I was a little concerned because most of the on-line reviews seem to be negative about Breezes Resort. Nothing could be further than the truth. From the moment I stepped on the plane until I returned everything was better than I expected. The Bahamian people are kind and helpful. Breezes Resort was clean and modern. The entire staff was there to meet the guests every need. It was a fantastic trip for a very moderate cost. Bahama is a natural wonderland that mostly relies on tourism for employment. The guests ran the gamut of ages and countries of origin. There were even families with teenage children who appeared to be having a great time. We all had a blast. I would recommend Breezes for any type of vacation. Thanks. John Kohl 7-20-15

Nice resort centrally located on Cable Beach

Posted 18-Jul-2015
My wife and I enjoyed our 5-night stay at Breezes. It's not a fancy place, but it's perfect if you're looking for an affordable all-inclusive with direct access to the beach and other activities. Most guests were content to sit around at the pool or on the beach. We took advantage of the tennis courts with two private lessons (included). We also used the kayaks and windsurfer. There was no wait (possibly because we visited in July). The staff was super friendly, and they put on some entertaining shows in the evening. The food is nothing to write home about, but it wasn't bad. You get what you pay for. Our favorite was the Japanese restaurant, Munasan. Bear in mind that it's only open a few nights a week (Weds, Fri, and Sat, if I remember correctly - it may vary throughout the year). Overall, a great place to kick back and relax for a few days. No complaints.

Average hotel, not very responsive staff

Posted 16-Jul-2015
The staff was not very engaging and every request had to be made multiple times before they would take care of anything. Food was great but service was slow. Would not recommend this resort.
