MTV spring break

Posted 30-Jun-2015
Checking in was a nightmare, they kept me waiting for hours for my room. Once I got the room, the bed was hard as a rock. The whole property could really use renovating. College kids everywhere. Good thing the drinks were free. The food was better than expected. Overall a good spot for college kids but grown ups should find somewhere else.

nice hotel on beautiful beach

Posted 12-Jun-2015
Pros: The staff were wonderful. The beach was beautiful. Food was excellent, lots of activities.
Cons: our door did not close without lifting it up, pillows were flat, no plug ins easily accessible except in bath, could not adjust AC- too cold
Location: Beautiful beach and lots to do at hotel. Lots of tours and other activities available outside of the hotel.
This was my first time to the Bahamas. I took my two daughters with me to celebrate my 60th birthday. The staff was excellent - everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, answering any questions we had and making us feel well cared for. A special thank you to Daltino, Edwin, and Oscar. The planned activities every day were a lot of fun. We used the kayaks, rock wall, trapeeze, and enjoyed the band and variety shows. The beach area, pool, grounds, all the food and restaurants were excellent. The rooms were clean but could use some updating.

Breezes Bahamas vacation

Posted 09-Jun-2015
I stayed for one week, this resort was extremely clean kept in excellent condition. Every morning and night you saw the staff cleaning literally everything. It was super well kept. Staff was refreshingly friendly and easy going. Even on the day it rained they mixed with everyone to make sure people were still enjoying themselves despite the rain. No complaints from me!

Nice beach!

Posted 08-Jun-2015
Pros: Staff, food, entertainment, pool, beach, activities.
Cons: Updated furniture.
Location: Nassau for shopping. Everything else we did at resort.
Checked in quick and drinks were brought to us at the counter, staff very nice, facility nice, beach nice, room nice, entertainment great and we always had hot water. Food was really good and there was plenty of it. Only negatives I have are vendors on the beach, but they were friendly and accepted a quick "no thank you" and the beds and furniture a bit outdated. I was a little put off with the amount of drunks around the pool area, but many people can't handle free liquor...lol. Beach was always clean and weather gorgeous while we were there. Nassau excursion was a bit of a disappointment.....very touristy and very pushy. I should have stayed in my nice resort! Buy your souvenirs from vendors on the beach.....same price, just as nice and you kill 2 birds with one stone. Oh and take anything you might need because everything is imported and very expensive and plenty of cash for buses, taxis and souvenirs.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Posted 06-Jun-2015
We stayed mon-friday. Very nice beach. Plenty to do. No hidden surprises. Food was pretty good. Room ac failed one night and they moved us very quickly. Only complaint to is hotel is dated. But all in all good stay! Love the Bahaman people, so nice and friendly.

Beautiful Setting, Nice people...

A special shout out to Lakisha and Michele at the pool bar but all the staff were friendly and responsive. The setting is awesome the beach is great - so much so that I never made it into the pool (hot tub excepted).

Expected mid-range all-inclusive experience

Posted 25-May-2015
Pros: The beach, games, food and bev.
Cons: Shower leaked all over the bathroom. Need new comforters. Walls are very thin and neighbors are noisy.
Location: Downtown and Stuart Cove's are about equi-distant away.
Hotel provides good food and reasonable accommodations. The rooms are of average or below cleanliness with tired stained comforter and old cheap drawers and hangers, noisy with thin walls, but you're not spending your time in the room. Staff is generally friendly and there's games and activities to keep you busy. Food is good and always available. They serve very strong drinks. The trapeze is fun, and there is some very fun snorkeling with starfish, rays and other fish right on the beach. Easy to get on the bus downtown and book other outings.

Price is right

Posted 24-May-2015
We recently stayed at the resort for six nights and had a great time. Beaches were beautiful and staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a little past its prime and is in severe need of upgrades. However, our room was clean and comfortable. (Bring Aleve for ur back ;mattresses were like a rock). Only major drawbacks were no fridge in room and no ice on each floor. We had to go down to lobby bar for ice. The food was not very good but plenty of it and easy enough to find something to fill ur stomach. Overall we would recommend the resort for the price in comparison to nearby resorts that would cost two or three times as much. Pete and Julie -Maine
