Very deceiving advertising. Do not stay here

Posted 18-Sep-2014
We were very disappointed with our stay. The room was not as advertised. The walls are not very well insulated, every word said and every little noise from the room next door was loud and clear in our room. The water pressure in the shower was almost none existent. The couch looked like it had been there for twenty years and sit like it too. Upon arrival we were told they needed to check our room to make sure it was ready and asked for our cell phone number, which I'm sure was a ploy to bombard us with even more attempts to sell us a timeshare. At 9am they started calling our room for 20 consecutive minutes trying to get us to go to their 90 minute sales pitch for a timeshare. They try to"butter you up" when you check in by telling you they just can't believe you got the suite you reserved. It's the best they have and normally you can't book it. We didn't believe this for one moment. Every other suite had a private balcony, we had an outdated room that I would not stay in again for half the price we paid. We paid 200 dollars per night to be harassed early in the morning and listen to the guests next door all night. If all that isn't enough check in isn't till 4 and check out is at 10 am. This "suite" was the size of basically any motel room. We have learned a lesson from staying at Wyndham and will never make that mistake again.

Excellent accommodation for a large family

Posted 27-Aug-2014
Pros: The Space and cleanliness.
Location: There are a few things within walking distance to both see and eat so the car was not always needed.
This was an excellent choice of hotel for a large family who prefer separate rooms. The sleeping and living space was really good and the kids (17 &19) enjoyed the pool. There are a few things within walking distance to both see and eat so the car was not always needed. We did not try the hotel entertainment as we were only in Nashville for a few nights and chose to spend what little time we had in town - parking for a day in the underground Hilton car park was $10 and evening parking in the open air car park just past the Country Music Hall of Fame was only about $5. Travel into town was easy - so all in all an excellent stay. The only reason that I did not award an Excellent was the fact that we did not try all of the facilities.

Good location but less than ideal room.

Posted 15-Aug-2014
Pros: The room was clean and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The situation with the water pressure was a disaster and was the hotel beds. We were traveling with 4 kids and there were 2 less beds than advertised
Location: The Grand Old Opry and Opry Mills are very close and fun to visit. Downtown Nashville is fun and the kids really enjoyed the Ghost Tour
Our room was on the third floor and there were no elevators. The water pressure was so low I couldn't even get the shampoo out of my hair and the second bedroom was supposed to have 2 double beds. It had 2 single beds. The washer and dryer unit were so small you could only wash a couple of things and the washer leaked water all over the floor. Besides these negatives, there were some positives. The room was clean and the kitchen was well stocked and functioned well. The grounds were nice and the pools were fun for the kids. The workers at the hotel were nice and helpful. All in all, I'd say it was only okay and for what we paid, I expected much better, especially the beds situation.

We booked through Expida and didn't realize it was a time share resort . That being said it was a great resort we where there for a week and the full kitchen was nice to have. No restaurant or lounge on site , about a 15 min walk . No time share pitches either as all guest where thought to already have time shares. Pool areas where very nice , staff where very nice and accommodating . Very close to Grand Opry and Opry Mills Mall . Would defiantly stay there again .

People were out playing basketball at 6:30 am when we complain they really could of cared less. The tub had a large crack in it, had to Park more than a block from our room. Don't think we will go back to their resorts again. diamond is more uniform and act like they care

Nice accommodation just a bit out of town

Posted 09-Apr-2014
Pros: Staff were pleasant and very efficient. Rooms were very clean and well appointed.
Cons: Furnishings were dated, but perfectly usable.
Location: Opry Mills is very close as is the Nashville Palace, Scoreboard sports bar and Opry Backstage Grill.
Lovely place to stay - very big in size for the 4 of us, but probably not suitable for those that want to be close to the action of downtown/midtown. Very close (walking distance) to some basic amenities - bars/restaurants and also to the Opry Mills for shopping.
