“Good hotel for the price”
When all you need is a bed and a light breakfast, and you don't mind a little noise from the nearby airport or highway, this is a good hotel for the price. Had to change rooms twice (the first had not been cleaned for my arrival due to a computer error; the second had a toilet constantly running), but it was done by the management staff promptly and cheerfully.
“Horrible, never ever again....”
i wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. after reading other reviews i thought i would try it out. Dont! Planes fly low overhead constantly from the airport. Sketchy characters were hanging around the hotel most of the time, and the gate to go in and out of the parking lot was very difficult to work. Overall just a horrible experience. we only stayed one night out of the 2 we had paid for.
“Shabby but decent”
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but smelled a little off somehow. The building had obviously seen better days, but seemed to be kept up relatively well. All in all, a much better deal than a lot of motels in similar shape further intown - we'd definitely be willing to stay there again.
“Not impressed!!”
We stayed here on an overnight on our way to Myrtle Beach. Definately an interesting place! Fills up mainly at night - appears to have alot of alternate activity at night. At 12AM a bunch of guys drunk and in suits loaded into a Van and left - came back around 3AM and had some cars surrounded (kind of like mob style) The next morning we saw people pretty much running to their cars with their stuff. Guess you get what you pay for. Actually had the room scheduled for when we came back from Myrtle Beach and cancelled it and found another place to stay!! Kids were scared to stay there again.
