Not close to the fairgrounds but great room.

I expected this place to be close to the fairgrounds but it wasn't. No matter, the staff was friendly and my pup stayed free.

Extremely Ghetto...

Posted 19-May-2015
The front desk has to buzz you into the office for their protection... They have a "park at your own risk" sign, not so conspicuously posted stating that they "are not responsible for any break ins, or theft"!! Yikes. If we would have known that it was located in such a bad part of town we wouldn't have booked. The room was fine. Very small, (like the size of the king bed in the room) but all renovated, like they advertise. The bathroom was dirty, the floor was the worst... I just wore my shoes in there tho. They had people renovating the rooms around us so we took our stuff with us when we left in the morning and brought it back in at night. Just didn't feel safe, secure or protected by the staff. They just locked themselves in their bunker and said every man for himself! Thank god my husband carries. I won't be back.

Disappointed

Posted 11-May-2015
Pros: Never stay there again. Way overpriced for what we paid for.
Cons: Update the rooms. More amenities, update the TV.
Location: Terrible view of a steel mill across the street. Very poor area, parking lot way too small.
Room was very small. The TV was old and couldn't get a good picture on any channel. Way overpriced for what we got. No hairdryer, no amenities. Never stay there again.

National conference downtown

Posted 05-May-2015
Pros: The staff was excellent. Very welcoming. Even gave me a map of downtown and popular places to visit. Room was pretty clean and it was renovated.
Cons: The smell of the room wasn't the greatest but I could stand it. Bathroom was a little small.
I stayed here when I had a conference in downtown Nashville. It is a very short drive from downtown and Broadway street. Maybe 5 minutes if you don't get caught in traffic. This place was a little bit sketchy but I was only staying for 2 nights. Renovated rooms were nicer than I expected for the price. The room was a decent size with 2 double beds. Bathroom was pretty small. Overall good room for the price for my length of stay.

Room was nice. Shower needed remodeling. Yellow stains on the walls and the water pressure was poor.

Fine Place to Crash

Posted 24-Apr-2015
Pros: The sink area was nice and the laminate floors were great I didn't feel like I was walking on any dirty carpet or anything that most Inn's have.
Cons: Just the shower/bathtub needs more updating you can just tell it's old is all.
Location: Location was fairly close to Nashville. If Uber wasn't charging us 2.7X the normal fair it would actually be cheap to get back there!!
All we did was check in, shower, and left for Nashville for the rest of the night came back and crashed and left the next morning. We stayed in the newly renovated rooms and they were nice. I didn't go over them with a fine tooth comb like a lot of people. I just needed a clean place to crash. This was just fine and no complaints.
