“40th Anniversary”

Hotel is in transition - Carpet and drapes need updating. Bed was comfortable.

Area recommendations
Murphfreesboro - Area was very nice - Shopping available
Shopping
There was no shipping available in the area. The one mall that was close was close to being empty.
Dining
The only dining available in the area was the hotel.
Other
The grounds need to be remodeled to improve the appearance of the hotel.

“Tired Nashville Property”

The physical plant is getting old and dated. We ordered room service dinner, and the caesar salad came with no caesar dressing. We were on the 3rd floor, and the music from the night club was extremely loud. We would not stay here again.

“Hotel Preston”

The photos used to advertis this hotel are outdated as well as the hotel itself. When I walked into the hotel, it had more of a night club feel. The hallway to my room was dim. I didn't feel safe walking in the hallway alone. The carpets and some of the furniture in my room was old. When I walked into my room, the radio was playing. I thought someone was already in the room. The coffee pot was on the bathroom counter. This hotel was gross.

“Will stay here again when in town”

Great hotel, the room is clean, the bed is extremely comfortable and the staff is wonderful

“Funky Elevator Walls”

It was nice-had some kind of funky really worn faux fur on the wall of the elevator that you really didnt want to lean on. Lounge is..surprise.. live country and western music.

“Not impressed”

This hotel looked much better in the pictures on-line. They gave us our room key and it was the key to someone else's room. Our keys to the elevator wouldn't work and the locks on the room door were always jammed. The room was not clean. The air filters to the air conditioning were black (we ended up washing them in the tub) and there were yellow stains all over the comforter. I would not recommend this hotel and don't plan on staying again.

I would highly recommend Broadway and 2nd. Street. Tons of great food, bars, and nightlife.

“Above average room for the price”

I was overall very satified. It was a big hotel with all the extra benefits. There was a great 10 member band that played that night I stayed there. They were playing for 20 people. WOW they were good! CON...The workout room was small and the equipment was outdated.

“Comfortable hotel”

I like the live country western band on Wednesday night. Great food and drinks and service in the restaurant. Chicken parmesan was excellent!

“Odor to hotel; bad lighting in lobby; not impressed;”

Selected hotel due to close proximity to airport. Upon arrival noticed odd lighting in the lobby that actually strained eyes when checking in. Noticed an odor throughout the hotel. Just got to room and shortly after had to evacuate within less than an hour of arriving, due to a fire in the basement. Stood outside until we able to go back in. Upon re-entrance to hotel, they couldn't get the alarms turned off, therefore, didn't get any sleep. Contacted the front desk because we weren't sure if we should evacuate again and they said they couldn't get them turned off, this went on for several more hours.
