“One of Nashville's hidden gems!”

Very nice and clean. Great breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.

Area recommendations

Vanderbilt University area, lots of pubs and restaurants within walking disatnce and bus stop in front of hotel. Nashville buses were great! Clean and on time. Easy to follow route maps.

Getting around

Nashville bus line is the best!!! Detroit could use a lesson from them. Clean and easy maps to follow.

“Great Value”

We went to Nashville for family weekend at Vanderbilt University where our daughter attends school. Normally, we stay at a more upscale hotel down the street. This was our first time at the Hampton Inn and we were especially pleased with the room, warm service and FREE parking. The hotel is now undergoing a renovation in the lobby but it really did not impact us in any way. It was close to Vandy and near many great restaurants. We liked it a lot and would stay here again. We're going to book early for move-in day 2012!

Area recommendations

Nashville is a wonderful small city with great neighborhoods and many nice restaurants near the hotel and surrounding the school especially in Hillsboro and the West End. For honky tonks, head downtown.

“Great location”

Average 3 star hotel but what makes it worthwhile (if the price is right) is the location, which is terrific. At walking distance to Vanderbilt University and Stadium and 5 min drive to broadway.

“Clean, comfortable stay”

I picked this hotel based on other Expedia reviews. I wasn't disappointed. We arrived in Nashville an hour early, and were able to check in without a problem. Check-in was speedy and pleasant. We had an issue with our t.v. remote not working, so we called down to the front desk, and they sent someone up to fix it right away. Our room was a tad small since 4 of us were staying in it, but it wasn't a big deal. Our room was clean and our beds were comfortable. The hotel wasn't right in downtown, but it was only about a mile and a half away. There were plenty of restaurants around, which was convenient. Parking and breakfast were complimentary, which was a bonus. The breakfast wasn't too great but it was free and continental, so you can't really expect too much. Overall, we had a good stay and I would stay here again.

“Great place to Stay!”

We found the Hampton Inn a great place to stay for our visit to Nashville. We came in to attend the Vanderbilt football game and this hotel had all of the amenities that we needed. First of all there was free parking at the hotel and the hotel was only 6 blocks from the stadium, so we were able to get to the game without having to look for parking. Next, there were quite a few restaurants in the area to choose from for lunch or dinner. The hotel has a nice outdoor pool and complimentary breakfast which was very nice. This hotel is close to the Interstate which allowed for us to get around quite easily. Next time in Nashville, we will definitely stay here again.

Area recommendations

The Hampton Inn is located in the Vanderbilt University area which was quite comfortable for us since we have college age children. This is a college location but convenient to all of the local attractions. The Interstate is 4 blocks away.

Dining

There is a nice Pizza restaurant behind the Hampton Inn. We visited this restaurant after the football game which was after 10 PM on a Saturday night. It is a nice family style restaurant that had TV's on for the football games and offered 2 for 1 cocktails. The food was good and the service was fine. I recommend going here since the other establishments were crowded.

“Extremely clean and very well managed”

I was just in for a quick night to visit someone in the hospital, and grabbed a room at this Hampton at the last minute. It far exceeded my expectations. Every corner is impeccable. The elevators are clean. The rooms are well appointed for this hotel class. The staff is friendly. On our next vist to Nashville, we'll definitely seek this place out. It's a great value for the money, and deserves highers stars. Cool, funky neighborhood with great eateries as well. Book it.
