“Perfectly fine for a few days stay.”

Very clean hotel. The room was adequate for our overnight stay. The only issue I had was that the parking was not clear and the clerk was not specific about where we were supposed to park after checking in. We had to figure it out on our own.

Area recommendations
Of course the Opryland hotel is very near and has a number of good attractions to check out. Downtown Nashville has a great deal of character and for first time visitors is a must!

“Opry Stay”

Hotel was in the perfect location to go to the Grand Ole Opry and the Troubadour Theater for Sat. night jam session and Sunday morning cowboy church.

Area recommendations
Downtown Nashville (Broadway) was fun to shop and listen to the bands.

“Nice for the price.”

We REALLY liked this hotel!! We picked The GuestHouse International Inn and Suites because it had two Queen-size beds instead of two doubles and it met the other requirements (an indoor pool, exercise room, breakfast.) Our standard room had lots of space, even the closet area was large. The pool was clean but only 5' deep. The exercise room was small but had good equipment. Breakfast was mostly carb-based, but it was good and my kids liked that they could make their own waffles. It's located by Opryland, which was closed until October due to renovations (from the flood & a new build) but we were only a few minutes from downtown. **Would recommend a stroll across the street to John A's. Great food at great prices, live entertainment and friendly staff! **Also, several places were closed or close early on Sunday and Monday...will keep that in mind when I plan my next visit to Nashville.

“Not Impressed”

The rooms were cleaned but the beds were not comfortable. A little older hotel but needed a good night's rest to drive on the next day!

“Going here everytime we go to NASHVILLE”

Everyone was very nice. We were allowed to check in early. Rooms were great. Breakfast had a variety of items to eat. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Will come back here everytime my daughter performs.

Great location close to Opry Mills and many local restaurants that have live bands and singing.

“My Mistake”

Rest room was tiny. A/C noisy and rattled Room was next to the hotel's neon sign - very bright. A/C in bar was not working - very warm. All of this and over priced.

“Very Convenient Location”

The hotel is conviently located 2 blocks from Beal Street where there are many restaurants and local attractions. The minor league baseball stadium is right across the street and going to a game was really easy. The lobby of the hotel was very impressive as was our room. The rest of the hotel needs a bit of a spruce up - hallways were dark and carpeting a little warn. Only valet parking is offered, but we parked in a public parking garage half block from the hotel (where the cars are valet parked) at half the price. Overall a comfortable hotel within walking distance of many of Memphis' attractions.

Area recommendations
Obviously Graceland - that is the biggest attraction, however we had a really nice time walking at the Mud Island RIver Park - there is a 5 block topographical map of the Mississippi River from beginning to end. This is only a few blocks from the hotel.

“Nashville Flood of 2010”

HOTEL WAS BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN AND EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY. HOWEVER, DUE TO THE 13 INCHES OF RAIN NASHVILLE HAD IN 2 DAYS, THE ONLY THING WE GOT TO SEE WAS THE LAST GRAND OLE OPRY CONCERT ON 5/1/10. WE LEFT A DAY EARLY TO GO BACK HOME DUE TO ALL THE FLOODING. NO ONE'S FAULT AND HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING. WILL USE THIS FACILITY AGAIN WHEN TRAVELING TO NASHVILLE. FEEL VERY SORRY FOR ALL THE DEVASTATION IN AND AROUND NASHVILLE.

“Would definitely stay here again”

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is fabulous, the staff friendly and very helpful, and the entertainment in the lounge was...well... entertaining. Breakfast was well-stocked and tasty. The only thing we ran into was the ice machine on our floor wasn't working, but with a refrigerator in the room it wasn't a big deal. I would definitely stay here again.

Dining
You must try McNamara's Irish Pub. The food was incredible and priced very reasonably. It's a family friendly restaurant with excellent entertainment. We went for dinner and stayed for almost four hours. McNamara's is off of Lebanon Parkway about 10 minutes away from the hotel. You won't regret it.
