Okay hotel in good location.

Posted 24-Aug-2014
Location: Near to Grande Ole Opry. Not easy to walk to. Downtown area with Ryman theater and Country Music Hall of Fame only a 15 minute drive.
Okay hotel. As we expected as per reviews of others. Room clean which is a must for us. Condition of hotel leaves much to be desired. Morning staff very pleasant. Breakfast good. Eating area very cramped but it worked. Side entrance door not in working order. My husband informed staff and still not fixed the next day. Pricey for what you get but Nashville seemed to be more expensive overall.

Nice people but dirty room.

Posted 21-Aug-2014
The hotel staff was friendly, breakfast was good, bed was comfortable and the fridge was nice. Easy to check in once 3pm hit but when they say no early check in, they mean it. It was easy to get to, but I felt the room was dirty. The sheets and blankets had stains on them that appeared to be bodily fluids. One of the outlets did not work. The pool area was infested with ants. Other than that, the room was fine for what we needed and the lady at checkout was very friendly and fun to talk to.

Ok for the price.

Posted 18-Aug-2014
The hotel was ok for the price. If the staff would take time and CLEAN the place, I would give it a higher rating. We had to spray down the bathroom & clean it before using. Breakfast offered was very minimal, but there are plenty of other eateries close by.

Good opryland location

Good price for a reasonable hotel. Pretty far from downtown though, especially if you don't have a car. Room was reasonable, breakfast was fine, location was quiet with food&attractions nearby. Would recommend.

Easy to find & close to interstates

Posted 14-Aug-2014
Met my sister from Southern Indiana and I was coming from Western Kentucky. It was easy to give directions. Located close to restaurants of various choices. Very friendly staff and they provided good directions and recommendations for restaurants in the area. Easy access to all major interstates I-24, I-40, I-65 from the Briley Parkway.

Don't Trust Them

Posted 13-Aug-2014
I was in Nashville for a job interview and left a wake up call that was completely blown off. When I complained about it the attitude was a very bland "sorry that happened to you." And the staff shrugged it off. The hotel is designed to be cheap, outside the room it is not very clean. At the price paid this is understandable. Blowing off a wake up call with little apparent concern is unforgivable.

Nice proximity to local attractions

You get what you pay for. Pool was smaller than presented but was nice. Overall cleanliness could use a bit of attention.

Clean hotel, close to everything "Nashville"

Posted 11-Aug-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: For an older hotel , it was great.
Location: Mini golf, go-carts, ice cream, museums, Grand ole Opry, Mall, etc.
Nice hotel. Good breakfast. Not a lot of variety, but for free, it was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was clean and front desk was very helpful

Posted 07-Aug-2014
Pros: I think the front desk girls were the best part because they were friendly and very helpful to give directions when we needed them.
Cons: Since it was an older hotel, it needed some updated painting and pictures and mayb some new fixtures in the bathroom.
Location: The game room and mini golf was right next door so the kids enjoyed just walking over to play them. It was located close to Grand Ole Opry,.
We arrived about check in time and so did about 50 bikers all wanting to checkin at the same time. The front desk was very accomodating to take us before them since we had our reservations book ahead of time. We were very satisfied the rooms, except for how small the bathroom shower area was but it was sufficient. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choices and never ending coffee and juice at anytime you wanted it during the day or night. The pool was nice also the kids enjoyed it as well as the adults.
