Stayed for a concert at Grand Ole Opry

Posted 26-Sep-2014
Pros: Convenient to everything.
Cons: Beds are a little hard and bathrooms didn't have any counter space, but overall was nice.
Location: Restaraunts and sites are really close to this location.
Nice Hotel, a few cracks in the wall, needs a few minor upgrades, but overall a nice hotel. Breakfast has a good selection, and staff was nice. Very convenient place to all the surrounding sites. We were right around the corner from the Grand Ole Opry and stayed here to see Lorde in concert.

The hotel was ok.

The hotel was ok for the price, but look out for these third party sights. They over book the hotel and you could be stuck with out a room. We got the last room, and the guy behind us had reservations as well. But the hotel was out of rooms. Hotels in the area were over booked as well. It's not the hotels fault. These third party sight may leave you with no room to

Location: If you are planning visit Vanderbilt University, the hotel is about 30 minutes away, but there are fast food places and putt putt golf nearby.
it was okay; a little off the beaten path for my purposes, but comfortable with a very friendly staff

Easy access and close to attractions

Posted 15-Sep-2014
Pros: The location was just about perfect for our intentions. It was clean, big enough rooms and managed by a most cooperative staff. Priced right too!!
Cons: Outside of some updating, the rooms were very nice. Older furniture, table, chairs etc. should be replaced.
Location: The motel is ideally located near many area attractions - and restaurants - which makes it just about perfect for those who don't do heavy traffic!!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed another rendezvous at the Grand Ole Opry. In general, we always have such a good time while in Nashville. It's busy, but one can always be entertained - day or night. We even decided to visit a couple local cemeteries(a bit macabre, I know) as many of the music celebrities who were once such a part of our lives are buried there. Hey, "ya gotta love Broadway", as they say! As I say, there is always something going on in Nashville. And, one can have a great time and not have to spend too much money either. Good people, plenty of fine restaurants, comfortable rooms and entertainment galore - it's all there.

Days Inn Nashville TN

Posted 02-Sep-2014
Pros: It was close to Opry
Cons: Update rooms, Wi Fi that works, sound proof rooms, hire clerks who care to help.
Location: Near Opry and Opry mills mall.
The hotel was okay, appears clean, needs updating. Pool is in the parking lot, which is too small to begin with, difficult to get in and out of the lot the way it is set up. The first night there, I tried to get ice out of machine and it was not working, so I went to 1st floor and it did not appear to be working either. Went to desk the woman was not interested in helping, when I told her I was trying to get ice on 2 she shrugged her shoulders and went back to talking to the 2 men who were there every night talking to this clerk. The walls were too thin, can hear the people talking in the rooms and hallways. Wi Fi was hit or miss, rarely working.

Okay hotel in good location.

Location: Near to Grande Ole Opry. Not easy to walk to. Downtown area with Ryman theater and Country Music Hall of Fame only a 15 minute drive.
Okay hotel. As we expected as per reviews of others. Room clean which is a must for us. Condition of hotel leaves much to be desired. Morning staff very pleasant. Breakfast good. Eating area very cramped but it worked. Side entrance door not in working order. My husband informed staff and still not fixed the next day. Pricey for what you get but Nashville seemed to be more expensive overall.

Nice people but dirty room.

Posted 21-Aug-2014
The hotel staff was friendly, breakfast was good, bed was comfortable and the fridge was nice. Easy to check in once 3pm hit but when they say no early check in, they mean it. It was easy to get to, but I felt the room was dirty. The sheets and blankets had stains on them that appeared to be bodily fluids. One of the outlets did not work. The pool area was infested with ants. Other than that, the room was fine for what we needed and the lady at checkout was very friendly and fun to talk to.

Ok for the price.

The hotel was ok for the price. If the staff would take time and CLEAN the place, I would give it a higher rating. We had to spray down the bathroom & clean it before using. Breakfast offered was very minimal, but there are plenty of other eateries close by.
