We enjoyed our stay!

Posted 22-May-2015
Pros: The helpful and friendly staff!
Location: It's a drive from downtown but close to Grand Ole Opry (which we didn't go to) and few bars and restaurants.
Our room was clean and comfortable. Definitely exceeded our expectations on a college student budget! The best thing was the helpfulness of the hotel staff! The lady at the front desk, Misha, kindly switched us from smoking to non-smoking, gave us lots of recommendations, and displayed great customer service in general. There is a shuttle that costs $10 roundtrip per person to go downtown. The driver was friendly and helpful. On Thursday morning the general manager asked how our trip was going and she was so sweet and fun to talk to! Our encounters with cleaning staff and other guests were all great. Only negatives are that one of the outlets in our room didn't work and the breakfast was only cereal, bagels, toast, and muffins. Nbd for us but probably bad if you are gluten-free.

Partly clean

This hotel needs a thorough cleaning. Our bathroom and bed were clean, but a bit worn. Unfortunately the hotel common areas, as well as the room air conditioner, were dirty. I did not even want to run the fan in the room.

Nice hotel at an affordable rate!

Location: Located next to Opryland, just 10 minutes from downtown Nashville, several eating places nearby, and go-carts & miniature golf next door.
We were very pleased with the facility and the staff!

Location: Close enough to walk 30 minutes to Opry Hotel. A few restaurants like McDonalds, etc. are minutes away. A somewhat vacant shopping complex is nearby
Overall the stay was what we expected. The complimentary breakfast was what we needed and the room had all we needed in a good bed, shower, etc. I'm always interested in a place where the price is right and you get the essentials.

Ideal for Opryland activities

Posted 12-May-2015
Pros: Hotel is pet-friendly, room is clean and comfortable, breakfast is substantial, business services are available and lodging rate is affordable.
Cons: Morning breakfast could offer some protein options every day, like yogurt or hard-cooked eggs. Access to a Laundromat and a supermarket would help.
Location: Grand Old Opry, Gaylord Opryland and Opry Mills mall are near; so are several dining choices.
Everything we wanted to visit is nearby; we didn't need a car. We enjoyed walking each day to Gaylord Opryland and Opry Mills mall, and dining along Music Valley Drive. We met well-behaved pets, which are welcome at this lodging. We did not need to have a car to reach destinations.

Close to shopping mall

Pros: Convenient to Opry Mills
Cons: Nothing that I can think of
Location: Conveniently located by Opry Mills, restaurants are within walking distance and go carts next door.
The clerk was very friendly during our check in and when we went to our room I noticed the latch was broken on the window and that it would not close. I went down to the front desk and reported this to the clerk, she was very polite and moved us to another room without any hesitation. I stay in this Days Inn when I travel to Nashville because it is convenient to Opry Mills. I have always had a very nice, clean room and the staff is always friendly. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

It works.

No Hyatt or Hilton but it works. If you understand how your trip will play out (long days out and resting at night) you would be comfortable with making it to the Days Inn Nashville The facilities are on the worn out side but no radical flaws. Hotel staff is very helpful. A great thank you to Reggie in particular. Fantastic front desk fella. If I could suggest just one improvement it would be the card reader in the room. I had to insert the card numerous times until it would open and also go to front desk for re-coding when it wouldn't open. In sum, you know what you pay for. This is a cheap hotel works well if your holiday/stay is a busy one and not a hotel-based get away.
