The best part of this hotel was the friendly staff and the location on Music Valley Drive.

Nice Hotel

Posted 21-Jul-2014
Cons: The air conditioning!!!!
The room was clean and nice. The bed was soooo comfortable. The bathroom was kinda out dated. The air conditioning was something to be desired. Had the same problem the last time I stayed there. I would stay there again because it is very convenient for my shopping that I do in that area. I would recommend to my friends and family. All in all very nice.

Wouldn't Recommend

Posted 21-Jul-2014
Cons: EVERYTHING!!!
Hotel was actually fairly ran down. I was expecting much more for the price. It was extremely hot in the hallway and not much better in the room. Was not very clean. We didn't even want to go back once we left for dinner. I would not recommend this place even if the price was lower. Our room was right next to the stairs and each time someone would open the door it made a very loud noise which woke me up with a fright several times.

Nice hotel, 10 minutes from everywhere

The hotel is a little outdated but was great for the price we paid. It is within 10 minutes of downtown and the mall. Very convenient if you do not want to travel a Long distance from hotel.

Not Impressed!

Posted 18-Jul-2014
We stopped here for a 1 night stay on our travels. They allowed us to check in late....the room a/c was set at 65 upon entering...brrrr! Our sheets had some stains in them and cigarette burns on the quilt. The tub dripped water throughout the night. However, it was quiet, located close to the Grand Ole Opry and the staff at the front desk was very friendly. We ended up eating breakfast at the Bob Evans cause the hotel had very little choices at the continental breakfast.

Good location

Posted 06-Jul-2014
Pros: Location and cleanliness of room.
Cons: The breakfast & working pool.
Location: Great location right off the highway. Grand Ole Opry close by with alot of restaurants within walking distance. Downtown Nashville 20 mins away.
Half the time the pool was unusable because of filtering problems at 95 degrees it would been nice to cool off in the pool. The breakfast was limited. The bath area was small.

Reasonable Price, Great Staff

Posted 01-Jul-2014
We stayed here at 1/3 of the price of staying downtown and utilized the shuttle service to get downtown. It's not the most up to date hotel and one of blankets had a burn hole in it, but the room was clean and the staff was very kind. I would stay here again.

far away from everything. management is lazy

Posted 28-Jun-2014
Pros: Easy parking.
Cons: The front desk manager. With one who returns calls and manages expectations.
Location: Mini golf. Tacky gift shops. Some restaurants. The Opry
I got to the hotel a day late because my flight to Nashville was delayed (on Friday) due to terrible weather. The hotel would not honor my Expedia reservation on Saturday and wanted me to rebook with them, promising that they would refund my Expedia reservation right away on Monday once "the owners came in". This was from Misty, the front office manager. I begrudgingly said ok. Not surprisingly, Misty did not help me get the owners approval to process the Expedia refund even after my check out Monday. She told me to email and she will take care of it. She did not. Repeated attempts to call the hotel back during normal working hours (11am, 2pm, etc) was met with responses of "She's not here." and "She will call you back" which she never did. After 4 calls, I was finally able to get the refund done by calling Expedia and getting them to do it. The funniest thing is that on Sunday, I heard Misty tell some other guests "Yeah, its a shame that you will always get 1 or 2 people who post a terrible review online." with a tone like her hotel truly deserved the utmost praise. YEAH RIGHT. Maybe if you do what you promise, or if you returned the calls of your guests, you wouldn't get bad reviews. As for the property, the room was ok. The wifi is very spotty. Most of the outlets didnt work. The room looks nothing like the pictures. While it is a 10 min walk to the Opry, no one would walk. The location is very far to downtown and the sights. I would not stay here again.

Zany

Pros: See above
Cons: Cosmetics and perhaps the mattresses.
Location: Close to downtown Nashville and Opryland.
Our stay at the Days Inn Nashville was overall a memorable and pleasurable experience. The staff was more than accommodating and very personable. The location was ideal and the price was affordable. We would like to especially thank the GM, Misty and the front desk staff member, Rusty. They made our stay so much more enjoyable. They went out of their way to accommodate our special needs and requests.
