Nashville

Posted 19-Oct-2014
Pros: Clean
Cons: Nothing
Location: It's about a 15 minute walk or very short cab ride to Broadway in Nashville.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean. The hotel was located across the street from several bars and restaurants.

Great value in Music City.

Stayed with family here for 3 nights. Great base for exploring downtown and also close to Vanderbilt area. Friendly staff, no issues.

Great hotel - within walking distance to Bridgesto

Posted 19-Oct-2014
Pros: The location. We enjoy walking and this hotel was a comfortable walk to downtown Nashville. Neat key cards for entering rooms.
Cons: No
Location: Just blocks from Bridgestone Arena and other Music venues. Able to walk to Nashville night spots and back and feel safe.
Offer a great breakfast - eggs, waffles, pasties etc., something for everyone. It more than met our expectations.

Downtown Nashville Comfort Inn

Posted 16-Oct-2014
Pros: Location.
Cons: The rooms need to be redone, and the cleanliness needs major improvement.
Location: We were right near downtown Nashville.
Location was good. Breakfasts were OK. Room size, layout was extremely small and cramped. Room cleanliness was extremely poor. Items on the floor under a table were still there 3 days after we checked in. Did they vacuum under the table? The table was sticky when we arrived - we had to clean it off. The bathroom was awful. The floor was filthy, the white towels turned grey when they got wet (you had to wonder how well they were washed), the bathroom door was in poor condition, and moveable dirt in the corners of the bathroom floor was never vacuumed or swept up. There was an odor in the room that would not go away. We stayed in a Comfort Inn in French Lick, Indiana on the way to Nashville and it was so much better than this place, but we would still think twice about staying at a Comfort Inn again after our experience at this place.

Nothing to boast...

Posted 10-Oct-2014
Great location to be in, but the hotel itself was nothing to really boast about. We had nothing to complain about or to extend our thoughts on. I would recommend this hotel to others, and I would probably book another trip to this hotel.

Nice hotel, close to everything

Posted 06-Oct-2014
Pros: Close proximity to everything downtown, within walking distance if you want.
Cons: Think carpets could be cleaned, after walking around room with white socks on, they got pretty filthy looking.
Location: You have to walk across a busy overpass and other side there is construction blocks section of sidewalk right now. Not far from Music Hall of Fame.
Was close to everything downtown, even if we took a taxi, it only cost like $5. Front desk was very helpful, giving us a city map, calling a taxi for us or giving us directions to someplace we wanted to go. The breakfast had the usual items but was good, was nice and clean, kind of weird that it was up on their 3rd floor, but they did have elevators. They have a beautiful outdoor swimming pool even though we didn't have a chance to use it. The room was clean and comfortable, however our bathroom was very small, that is about my only complaint. They were very nice, after we checked out, wanted to go downtown for about an hour, and they let us keep our car parked there until we got back.

Good location and facilities

Posted 06-Oct-2014
Pros: Very helpful reception staff. Good location for Downtown Broadway and the I-40. Weather very hot, so the open-air (unheated) pool was most welcome.
Cons: The cooked breakfast; tired 'omelettes' and sausage patties, tough biscuits and that nasty grey stuff, the call 'gravy'.
Location: The hotel is located on Demonbreun, about 7 blocks west of the CM Hall of Fame. There are some nice bars right across the road
A comfortable, large room, overlooking the pool, with views of the Nashville skyline. We wanted to stay longer but the place was booked solid!

Simple hotel, with pool

Posted 28-Sep-2014
Not as close to downtown as we expected. Free breakfast but all the food was white - biscuits and gravy, white bread and bagels etc. Pool looked good (we didn't have time)

Pros: Motel was clean, close to downtown (app. 3/4 mile), had bars and eating places across the street from motel. The staff was very nice.
Motel was very nice. Clean, good location, had entertainment across the road. Walked back from downtown after dark and felt very safe. Well lit streets. Free buses took you within three blocks of motel mon thru sat. Good full breakfast. Nice outdoor pool.
