Location was perfect. Close to walk I would suggest calling for the golf cart taxi rides. Our driver was awesome and he worked off tips. He gives u his number and will pick u up and drop off. Hotel could use a good cleaning

Fair price for a good location.

Only knock on the room was the door and it wasn't a person. It was the gap between the door and the facing. You'd be amazed how much construction noise thru such a small gap.

Close enough to downtown

Posted 24-Jul-2015
Hotel was older but pretty well maintained, and it was clean. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. First room had very limited sunlight from outside, but they switched us to another room with some sun. Breakfast was good. Decent hotel about 9-14 blocks from downtown nightlife that was a better price than most downtown hotels. We preferred to walk to the downtown nightlife and back several nights, but there was an abundance of taxi's available everywhere.

Great Location, Old Hotel

Posted 24-Jul-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Needs repair.
Location: Music Row.
This hotel is a great location near Vanderbilt and Music Row. That is about all I can say positive about this hotel. The room looking like it was in a state of repair with some items complete and other still waiting. The room had a back smell like it had not been cleaned in weeks. The Air Conditioner was something you would expect from a cheap motel. It was loud, inefficient set right under the curtains so no cool air ever made it to the room. This hotel should be $75 a night. That is the level of this location. I was disappointed in my stay.

Lobby not same as room

Posted 23-Jul-2015
Lobby is like new but room is a bit worn. Bed is comfortable. Liked location near sites and good eating places with live music. Breakfast was very harried, loud and staff were unable to stay up with the rush of so many people. Food was good if you could get it while it was hot. Access to hotel from hiway is very convenient. Would stay there again now i know what to expect.

Nice, reasonably priced hotel

Posted 23-Jul-2015
Location: We took free bus into downtown each day to explore the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Honky Tonks. And Bridgestone Arena is right there as well
Reasonably priced hotel option that is near a free bus stop providing access to downtown. Also walking distance to Music Row and Vanderbilt U. Room was clean; hotel provides free breakfast and has a pool.

Fair accommodation on far outskirts of downtown.

Posted 21-Jul-2015
Pros: Assured parking. Freeway access.
Cons: See above.
Location: You can get in your car and go places and there are a few restaurants and gentlemens' clubs nearby.
We spent four nights in this hotel. We ended up having to drive to Broadway for the music there, even though the desk staff contends it is s short walk. It was NOT a short and safe walk. Coming back around midnight through dark streets, we were glad,we drove down to LoBro. Cleanliness was not great, but not distressingly bad. If you want breakfast, be there early. By 7:30 the Orange juice machine is dispensing cloudy water. Don't expect English of the housekeeping staff. Even vestigial English. You will be disappointed. On the positive side, your parking place is assured because the hotel issues mirror hangars, one per room. This is important in Nashville. Also, the freeway is very handy for fast getaways.

Decent but would pay that price again

If you have small kids that want to get in the pool this isn't the place.
