Very Nice Hotel - Terrible Room

Of course I got the typical shun "Oh you booked with Expedia?" I confirmed yes, then was give. A room with an extremely bright light fixture outside the window, of course I didn't know this until we got in that night and the light was on. It was like daylight in our room all night. I looked the next morning, there were only 5 of these lights on the building and of course I was given a room with on of them directly above the window. We had to be at Vanderbilt early the next morning for my wife's chemo treatment and then doctors visits so it made for a very very long next day. I will never stay there again.

Hotel in great location

Hotel was in great and safe area. We arrived early and our room was ready. The room was extremely clean. The only thing that I would recommend a breakfast.

Great location, average extended-stay hotel

Average hotel in a nicer commercial park area. Good freeway access to Nashville, and lots to see, do, and eat locally in Brentwood, Franklin, and other suburbs. Room was fairly comfortable, but both the room and the facility could have used a thorough cleaning. This is an extended stay hotel so you have a little kitchen in each room. However, they only provide housekeeping service once a week. It's a trade off. I would likely stay here again if I visit the Nashville area for more than a few days.

It reads as though you did, indeed, recognize the many nice features we offer our guests..."nicer commercial park area...good freeway access...lots to see, do an eat...", all good features for those seeking a suitable destination hotel. I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge, equally so, that we are, indeed, an extended stay business model, and therefore, aside from our guestroom features including full kitchens, our housekeeping model is weekly, with needed refreshes on call. This labor model allows us to keep our guestroom rates economically affordable and, equally importantly, allows greater privacy for our guests who are residing here for periods of time, sometimes weeks upon weeks. Nonetheless, we do hope that you will again allow us to serve you as our guest when opportunity has you back in this area!! We do most sincerely appreciate your loyalty and support of Candlewood Suites.

I struggled to get a good temperature in the room. I probably should have asked for help. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.
