“Was worth the extra 8 minute drive”
Great area, fabulous staff for the most part, we had 4 rooms and 3 had lots of extras the 4th did not have the microwave, small fridge nor the sofa in it. But they were easy to deal with, friendly, helpful, extra clean and comfy rooms ( and my wife is hard to please). For New Years Eve we ate at Mures Bulles (sp?) It is about a block away and was fabulous. Even though this is on the South side of Nashville. We used it for our bases of operations for visits to the Opryland Hotel and resort, Trips to the Ryman to see the Grand Ole Opry and downtown to Jacks Bar-bque and msuic at the 2nd fiddle etc. TIP: park in the Library parking garage on corner of 7th and Commerce --(says I can't post rates but but 50 to 75% less than most parking rates)safe well staffed, 2 block walk to Ryman and all the action dowtown.

visits to the Opryland Hotel and resort ( must make the pilgrimage to see the lights over the holidays) Plus take in some music at the Irish Pub there in the Magnola section of the hotel.
