“Nice”
A very comfortable, clean room to come back to at the end of the day. Good breakfast and great dinner in the restaurant. The street is busy with traffic but the close proximity to the train station make it well worth putting up with some noise.
“Great hotel in a rather unpleasant piazza (at the time)”
The Hotel was very nice and in a good location. It was very easy to get to from the airport as the airport coachfrops you off in the Piazza Garibaldi. The journey from the airport was quicker than expected, at 13 minutes in peak hour. Although the hotel was in a good location, the location itself was not particularly nice. Piazza Garibaldi is a construction site, from beginning to end, and by appearances will be for quite some time. It is dusty and dirty and unattractive. This means the balcony room is not really necessasy unless you enjoy looking down at dirt, traffic and a building site. The room itself was very comfortable. It was a nice respite from the surrounding area. The reception was incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included. I paid for a classic room, although the recpetion staff upgraded us to a Superior room. I was a bit skeptical of this though, because the room matched the description of a classic room as it had a balcony (superior does not), and it was very small. Apparently the Superiour is much bigger. The Hotel was in a good location in that it ran directly alongside one of the main shopping streets, and this street leads you directly to an area active with restaurants, and to Castel Nuovo. So overall, the expeirence of the hotel was pleasant fo the night!
“Nice Hotel”
The hotel itself is very nice! The surrounding area is safe during the day to be out alone but probably not at night. I was also disappointed that wifi was not included in the price of the room, you had to pay by the hour :(
“One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in”
For the price I payed I was not expecting to obtain this kind of hotel! Blew my mind away. Extremely modern and classy at the same time. Great service and state of the art design. Rooms were breathtaking. Great breakfast! I recommend it a 100%
“A great place to sleep!”
Location was very near the train station and right on the plaza. The traffic and the noise outside was loud, but due to 3 sets of doors, it was quiet. Suffering from jet lag and an overnight flight we took a siesta in the middle of the afternoon. The room was totally dark and quiet. Very nice sleek look to this boutique hotel. We found the beds and pillows here (and in the rest of Italy) to be very hard. We enjoyed the view from our balcony. A good breakfast was included in the reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again.
“Decent hotel close to train station”
Una Napoli is a decent mid-level hotel close to the train station. The location is good, but on the bottom end of the area that you'll mostly visit. The hotel itself can be a little noisy, but it's not that bad. The price is fair, but what I think is important is that this is a mid-level hotel. It's not a high-end hotel which the reviews might lead you to believe. You get what you pay for, which is a decent hotel at a decent price.
“Terrible Surrounding Area”
This hotel is in a terrible neighborhood. Lots of undesireable people in this area. It is down right scary. The intersection has cars turning from all different directions which causes prople to honk at other drivers all day and night. I was sure there was going to be an accident. There are police sirens and ambulance sirens all day and all night. I found it very difficult to get any rest at all. The internet is not free and it's cost is at a premium. The only good thing about this hotel is then staff at the restaurant and the food. The cab fare to any interesting site in this city begins at 12 Euros each way. I definitely would never recommend this hotel to anyone I know nor would I ever go back.
“Very Impressed”
My fellow travellers loved this hotel. They highly recommended this hotel to family and friends. The common space were clean and they had a very good breakfast and enjoyed the buffet. Location was perfect since they had to take the train to go visit Rome. They had easy access to public transportation. One negative note though is that it took them time to figure out how to deal with light in their room. But overall, they had a very good experience and promised themselves to go back again.
“Would always recommend UNA hotels”
We weren't sure where to stay in Nalopi since we were only going to be there for 1 night. We wanted to be close to the train station so that's where our search began. We ended up at the UNA hotel since it was a great price and we had heard good things about them in the past. Once we arrived, we realized why. It was convenient to everything and we walked all over the city. This place was so nice, well maintained and the people were so helpful. The room was MUCH bigger than any other room we stayed in Italy. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would stay at an UNA hotel in any city.
“It's Amore.”
We loved the place. It is a beautifully restored old building on one corner of Piazza Garibaldi opposite the Napoli Centrale railway station (main Naples station). We were treated politely and promptly by the staff for all of our requests. Our room could not have been more comfortable or well appointed. Indeed it was both attractive and full of character with the large, solid stone blocks of the original walls being exposed in several places. Unfortunately, Piazza Garibaldi, itself, was being excavated for subway extensions while we were there which detracted from the view from our balcony although the very effective double glazing and shutters kept out all noise both day and night. While very convenient with trains, subway, buses and taxis always available, the immediate surroundings were somewhat shabby. Nevertheless, a short distance away, high quality shops, interesting alleys, markets, churches, museums, archaeological sites and sightseeing along the shore of the Bay of Naples were to be found. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and an excellent hotel.
