“Perfect Location in Old Naples”
From the moment we pulled the car into the drive, we knew we booked the perfect hotel for us. We were warmly greeted at the front desk by Peter and a female employee. Peter gave us lots of helpful information about the hotel. The Trianon Old Naples is a beautiful, charming hotel that has comfortable beds with quality linens, large rooms, a friendly and helpful staff (all shifts). The complimentary continental breakfast consists of bagels, breads, muffins, danish, cereals, fruit, juices, and coffee/tea - more than adequate for a continental breakfast. The location is perfect to walk to 5th Avenue restaurants and shops (2 blocks away) and to Tin City (2 blocks the other way). We decided to leave the car at the hotel and walk to the beach many times (~ 8 -10 blocks). Naples Pier was only a few blocks further once at the beach. Since we traveled in mid/late July, brief thunderstorms can be normal in late afternoon. When late day showers were forecasted, we drove to the beach – be sure to have quarters for parking. There is a pool and towels provided for use in the pool area (pack beach towels). The pool was refreshing and comfortable. Some days, it was busy but only for a short time. There is free wifi in the room, hotel lobby and pool area. We had an excellent stay at the Trianon Old Naples and cannot say enough about the staff. Everyone was kind, courteous, and extremely helpful!
“Naples Best”
We had a wonderful time in Naples and the Trianon Hotel contributed hugely to the overall experience. We would highly recommend this jewel of a hotel in the crown of Naples.
“Great Location - Great Beds!!!”
Our room was large and comfortable. We did find one lipstick-marked cup that was missed by housekeeping but the rest of the room was clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've had in a hotel. We really enjoyed staying so close to everything and walked to everything we wanted to do in Naples from this central location.
“Great Value”
Cant beat it, great location, charming hotel, great price............can walk to beach and the shops and restaurants on 5th st, pool is nice too! Only thing missing is a bathroom fan.
“Great Hotel and it wasn't expensive”
When we pulled up outside this hotel we couldn't believe it was a three star it should be a five star. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. There were several good seafood resturants within walking distance. Next time we visit Naples we will be staying there.
“Horrible Service”
Worst check-in experience we've ever had.. We arrived early (just before noon) since we were coming from Orlando and wanted to spend the day on the beach, so we stopped in to the hotel first to see if a room was available yet. When we walked into the lobby, the front desk clerk and a manager were having a conversation and stopped abruptly to stare at us- no greeting, no smile, just a look of shock that we could be entering the hotel so early.. which was made abundantly clear to us when Peter the front desk agent said "you're a little early..." instead of just checking us in. This was a Thursday morning and they certainly weren't sold out Wednesday night (I asked), which means there are clean and ready rooms no matter what time guests check in. When I told him we would just come back since it was clearly a hassle to give us a room as 12pm, Peter said "I'm trying to do you a favor, do you want us to check the status of the room or not?" I was so appalled at his attitude. It's one thing to be fed up with guests who are high maintenance and rude (I've worked in hotels for 8 years), but to have that attitude with 2 people who just want to check into their room and start their vacation and gave the staff no issue whatsoever is just unacceptable. The rest of the hotel staff also were not hospitable, and if I were the owner, I'd fire the lot of them.
“Best Location for the Price”
Best kept secret in Naples for travelers wanting the convenience of walking to downtown Naples and enjoying a short walk to the beautiful and quiet beach. Many shops and restaurants are 2 blocks from this quaint charming hotel with a European style flavor. The desk staff was extremely helpful in suggesting and mapping out the local eateries and places to visit. We will be planning to visit again next year with our family and grandkids----
