“great location”
Great location in the heart of 5th if you want to be near the restaurants and shops. The room was ok, nicely laid out with traditional feel, but lacked any wow factor, but would stay there again if in the area.
“Not impressed”
The hotel was well located and the staff was very helpful. However, the hotel is in desperate need of an update. Looks like there is a lot of deferred maintenance. The bed was soft (needed a new matress) and the some of the linens had stains on them. The pool area is very nice but there were only a handful of towels for the entire hotel and they were worn out.
“Elevator shaft”
Though the hotel was not full we were given a room next to the elevator shaft. Because of "the holiday" the dining and room service was closed.the pool area had restaurant fumes but no food or beverages on an 80 degree day. Room cleaning had to be done early or you had to pick up towels at the desk.. Don't stay there on a holiday.
“Location, location and location”
The Hotel definately ticks all the boxes as far as location is concerned, plenty of restaurants all within waliking distance. The amenities in the Hotel were satisfactory but the absence of a coffee shop for breakfast may be an issue with some guests. My main concern was with the immediate area which is most definately new, modern but "sterile". The older buildings have all be demolished and new architectual coordinated structures replace them giving the overall impression of being in a theme park with manicured gardens, strategic placed trees and designer plants. Not a place you would want to hang about.
“Perfect Naples location”
This hotel is right in the heart of Old Naples on 5th Avenue, the main street of the downtown Old Naples district. Quaint shops, restaurants and galleries abound and all vendors and and shop owners were very friendly. The hotel staff also was great! Very helpful with directions to sights we were interested in and suggested other fun things to do in town. The room was really large even though it wasn't an 'upgraded' room due to lack of a view (looked out over a back, tree-lined street), The bathroom vanity was a bit small but the huge shower size made up for that! Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and the price was equitable.
“Excellent Hotel in Naples Downtown Area”
The Inn on Fifth is an very well located boutique Hotel in the centre of the Old Naples Downtown area. The hotel is within 50 metres of a number of excellent restaurants and shops. Generally the rooms are in good condition although there were some minor signs of wear and tear, notably bathroom fittings etc which would benefit from renovation although we regard this as insignificant. There is free undercover parking accessed via the 4th Avenue entrance to the hotel which is sometimes crowded, but more hotel parking across 4th Avenue which is empty. When we were staying there was only breakfast served on the weekend in the linked Irish pub McCabes. It would have been nice having breakfast on site on weekdays too.
“Very Good Location.”
I love the location.center of 5th ave.8 minutes walk away to te beach.
“warm weather destination”
Lovely hotel. Great location. Disappointed in bed size.
“In th ecenter of the activity of Naples.”
Clean, courteous and convenient. A good choice.
“Great place for a getaway weekend”
The staff couldn't be nicer! This is a place we go each year around Thanksgving. They decorate the lobby beautifully for the holidays, and the location could not be better. Highly recommended. If I could improve a few things, it would be to add high-def tv (the sets are there but the signal isn't), in-room refrigerator included, and a place within the Inn to have breakfast. (The pub used to serve it, but apparently, they no longer do. It's just me, but I'd rather have breakfast where I'm staying before heading out for the day.)
