“Loved This Place”
We rented a 2 br suite, and it was lovely. I could have stayed there for weeks, especially because of the fully stocked kitchen. There was even a washer/dryer! NOT that I felt like doing laundry while there but it was great to have it on hand. The major thing I loved about this hotel was that I arrived with a broken foot! I'd injured it just two weeks earlier and didn't want to cancel my trip. The staff universally couldn't have been nicer about helping me out. They shuttled me literally EVERYwhere because the place is huge. If they hadn't been so willing to help me maneuver from one place to another, the stay would have been disastrous. I also adored the fitness center. It is top rate. I'm swimming now for exercise -- I'm kind of a fanatic -- and the pool was lovely, crystal clean. The only complaint I'd have is that the poolside breakfast is awfully pricey for what you get. But even then it was okay. The view is lovely and, again, the waiter was very, very helpful the millisecond he saw me hobble in w/ my cast. I will definitely return. Absolutely.
“Naples wonderful”
Naples Bay Resort was very easy to locate. First impression was the hotel appearance lovely and the upkeep of the grounds teriffic. Our room had a balcony overlooking the marina and the yachts-just charming. Located within walking distance of Tin city and took a river cruise from that area. Hotel is on the 5th ave of Naples where all the restaurants and shops are. Staff very accomodating. Short ride to the zoo, beach(hotel drives u to beach and trolly.
“Stay away from this hotel”
Trust me, you do not want to stay in this hotel, unless...you own a yacht (not sure if that would help).
“Great place for a getaway”
Outstanding! Rooms are in great shape. We stayed at the hotel, but you have access to the Club right next door, which is where we spent our time. Lazy river, hit tub, adults-only area and POOL SIDE BAR with great service. Will definitely go back
“Fourth trip to Naples Bay Resort”
This was our fourth trip to this hotel. We have stayed in the hotel twice and at the cottages twice. We have always enjoyed our stay. This time, there was one disappointment, the newly added breakfast buffet. We arrived at the club for breakfast and had to ask another hotel guest if we needed to seat ourselves. There were no staff in sight. We helped ourselves to a plate and soon discovered there were no eggs, the home fries looked like leftovers and there was only bacon (no sausages). It was then that we saw an area for omlettes. We etched placed an order for an omlette and when they were ready, it was discovered that neither one was what had been ordered. By now over a half hour had transpired and it was not worth correcting. The sad part was there were only guests present. The hotel needs to spend more attention to this area. We stayed for six nights and did not go back for breakfast again. When we checked out I had a hard time accepting the $45.00 charge for this meal. In regards to the overall stay, this is an excellent resort and with the exception of the meal we have had great times. It is truly a great place. The pool areas are great and clubhouse is ideal. You will not be disappointed with choosing this stay, hopefully they will correct this area and add to your stay. Bonefish is on site and offers a great meal, try Stoneys(acros the street at Bayfront, excellent). If you choose the hotel or cottages, you will be very pleased.
“Nice hotel but not enough varie for food and drink...”
The hotel was very good but the services attached were limited when we went (November). Presumably out of season, there was only one bar attached to the hotel (but not part of) which was also the main restaurant for the evening. Service good but pricey as you would expect. The hotel did not have a bar which you could use in the evening. It's position of being spread out ove the two sites was also a little off-putting, but it is within walking distance of the main restaurants and bars in Naples. Staff very friendly and services available were good.
“The best will go back there on my next rip to Naples”
Great The front desk, attendants, Marilyn the conseigre was the best. Margaret the housekeeper did an excellant job. I run a small hotel up north so I know the business- everything was perfect
“would go back”
The hotels was beautifully appointed, the staff friencly, and our suite was luxurious. At our arrival we were upgraded from a 1 bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom suite. We only had one complaint. There was a heavy-duty thunderstorm while we were there and we lost power 3 or 4 times for very short periods. However, later that night we lost power for a couple of hours (not the hotels fault). We had an early flight back to Ohio the next morning and it would have been nice for them to reassure us that our wake-up call would be taken care of by some other form of notification. As it turned out, the power was restored during the middle of the night (made for an uncomfortible night's sleep). When we checked out, I mentioned that we had been concerned and was told that they would have sent security to wake us. That's ok, but they should have sent someone to our section of the resort (very large resort) to let us know the plan so that we would have a better night's sleep.
“Gorgeous Room with Lovely Decor!”
I would definitely return to this hotel, but I would hope that by the time I come back they have room service! The staff was great on check-in and they were wonderful about late check-out. Parking was free and convenient. The room was fabulous with a wonderfully spacious bathtub, great toiletries, and a fantastic color scheme. Given the upscale nature of the hotel, I was surprised and quite disappointed that there was no room service. It seems that they had it before but didn't now. There was no explanation. However, overall it was a great experience.
“Wonderful spot...can't wait to go back”
We stayed here for a 7 nights. My wife and I have a 2 1/2 yr. old son and we had a great time at the resort and in Naples. We will definitley be back. Plenty to do with the pools, beach, great zoo, shops, etc. After Labor Day, the place cleared out and we had it nearly to ourselves.
