the non smoking room did not exist - horrible odor in room an coming from the streets - I would not recommend this hotel or this part of Italy

“Excellent value for money!”

We booked this hotel with fairly low expectations (it was the cheapest of all the hotels we'd booked for our three week trip), but wow, we were totally wrong! This place is beautiful! Very clean, modern decor, huge rooms, lovely bathrooms, free internet, large continental breakfast spread... we were wondering if there was going to be some extra charge added on at the end, everything was sooo nice! I didn't really like Naples all that much, but I would consider returning to stay at this hotel.

“please change the bed sheets”

Somehow the housekeeper didn't change the sheets for 3 days. The facility is very new but the service needs to be improved.

“value for money”

The hotel has only basic amenities, however the staff speak and understand english and are very helpful. Any deficiency in the hotel is made up for by its convenient location, 300 metres from the airport shuttle bus stop, 50 metres from the R2 bus stop to the station, 5 minutes from the ferry to Capri,1.2 Kilometres to the National Museum. Other than pasta and pizza outlets I could not find a decent restaurant serving any cuisine anywhere in the vicinity.Not easy to find in the first place especially if you are arriving at night no obvious entrance from the road and the name of the hotel is set high on the wall and is about 9x6 inches in size. You get what you pay for,

“Hotel Napoilt Amo”

The hotel is not difficult to find as we had been warned. It is very near the harbour, so easy to by hovercrft to Sorrento and Capri and for cruise ships. Buses are nearby and sight seing very easy , particularly if you take "hop on and off" bus tours Breakfast was same daily, but of very good quality. Staff is very helpful. Free internet is attracrive. Would recommend it for for reasonable price if you just want to sleep and enjoy the city and nearby sites.

“well positioned hotel in historic centre of Naples”

Plain front, lift no longer requires 10 cent coin, near Questura, breakfast overlooks Castel Nuovo, staff bright, internet connexion works, easy walking distance of principal sights and good restaurants, sufficiently away from criminous throng on Via Toledo and in heart of historic centre, near Alibus stop, crucial R2 and R4 stops and ferries.

“Great location, Friendly Staff”

Great value and great location. The hotel is situation just off Via Medina, a short walk to the old Castle (we could see the castle from our room which also had a small balcony). Also short walk to via Toledo, the shopping strip which leads to Piazza Garibaldi. 5 mins. wak to marina Beverello. You can take the Alibus from the airport for 3 Euro & get off in front of the castle & walk to the hotel. There's no hotel sign or hotel front. It's on the 3rd floor, part of a residential & business building. You'll need to look for the hotel number, there's a small sign with a buzzer for Hotel Napolit Amo. Best way to recognise the hotel entrance are the huge wooden doors. Take the small life up to 3 where reception is. Room 509 had a lovely view on the 5th floor. Breakfast was good & included in the room price. Free internet. Janet was really nice & helpful - thank you! I'd definitely stay here again.

“Good Hotel”

Everything was as advertised. No complaints, good service. Good location. Good staff.

“Central position, very helpful staff, awkward building”

Entering the hotel building was a bit of a shock; gloomy, cigarette smoke filled central hall, grubby coin operated lift. Hotel itself was a pleasant surprise; very friendly staff, free internet use and a good breakfast. However, the fact that the rooms were on two different floors with a extra key for the front door to the 5th floor was rather impractical. Also, the walls were paper thin.
