“Don't trust the pictures”
The hotel was not what was advertised. The rooms are much smaller, very hostil like and don't really feel safe. The private bathroom also has a UV light which is usually seen in public restrooms. As two women traveling together alone, this was not the place to stay. We couldn't even spend one night in the room due to location, safety and certain members of the staff. We would say that it is a good place to stay on a small budget with male travel companions but not alone. You really do get what you would expect from such a low price.
“Behind a comforting gate”
Naples is notorious for crime! And you sense it as soon as you get out of the main train station (we were fighting off pickpocketers 5 minutes in). This hotel, however, is behind a gate and 4 floors up making you feel somewhat...dare I say it...safe in Naples. It was slightly difficult to find (it´s not in the piazza...it´s down a side street) but as a couple, we were completely satisfied with the full bed and private shower for a great price!
“Not pleased”
The room reeked of cigarette smoke and felt dirty. Not a comfortable experience at all. Thankfully we were only there for the night since we were flying out of Naples. I would not recommend to anyone.
“Recommended if on a budget”
Basic but then it is 1* and you should know this cos you've booked it as such! It was clean and comfortable and maintained as such throughout our stay. Staff friendly. Fantastic location for harbour, trains. Cafe on exiting hotel provided great first cup of coffee of a morning. 10 cents for lift - not a big issue as we used the stairs but do keep a few aside if the day has been heavy on the feet! We would certainly use again.
“notte a Napoli”
hotel situato in quartiere centrale e vicino all'Università.
