“Good price and amenities.”
Well located and good resturant at the hotel. Don't know what more one could want. Great people and service.
“Adorable Older Hotel, Fun Tiki Bar”
This hotel - really an old-style motel - is an absolute throwback, but it was so much fun that we loved it! Perhaps the furnishings, especially the bed, were not the best, and the decor was definitely dated, but we loved the atmosphere and felt as though we had stepped back in time. The outdoor bar area is obviously very popular, and the pool area was nice. We had a fabulous experience for a decent price and had two great meals at the Japanese restaurant, which we loved.
“An Oldie but Goodie”
Although the building & furnishings are old it was spotless. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The bar "Harolds Place" was fun and it was great to sit by the pool at night. The coffee cups were way too small at the continental breakfast. All in all a great time at a cheap price. I'd stay there again.
“Lucky we found it”
Thought this place was a hidden treasure. Great price, wonderful atmosphere with international visitors. Great burger at Harold's Place. Beautiful well maintained deep pool with lovely garden atmosphere. Breakfast was skimpy and not enough variety, should have skipped that but otherwise a wonderful place.
“Nice place , we have always liked it.”
Is the one place for us to stay in Naples.
“Nice, affordable, clean, friendly”

“Not overly impressed”
The room was okay. None of the furniture matched - dark brown closet doors, blonde table, white headboards and night stands. There was a small kitchenette with a microwave and small refrigerator, but no plates, utensils - nothing. The sink was a small, bar-size sink and was the only one in the room - not even one in the bathroom. The bathroom had only a toilet and shower stall. So when you wanted to brush your teeth or wash your face or hands, or just look in a mirror to put on makeup, etc. you had to stand in the kitchenette (which was right next to the bathroom at least). There were two of us in the room, and this made it a bit uncomfortable. There was nowhere to put soap or shampoo or anything in the shower - no shelf or holder of any kind. We balanced the bar of soap on the handle of the sliding glass shower door.
“A retirees home away from home”
Everything was really good at the hotel after we switched our first room. We took a smoking room because she said there was no balcony, but the whole place had a balcony and the smoking was the most disgusting room I had ever been in. The walls had never been washed. You could see the dirty finger prints from previous guests all over them especially on thebathroom door. The floor was carpeted and the smell of smoke punched you in the face as soon as you walked in. Once we switched to a non smoking room it was great. The room looked like it had been recently renovated. It was a tile floor and much brighter. It also smelled like chlorine or something a little which was comforting. The only problem was again you could see dirty fingerprints on the walls which leads you to wonder how well of a job the cleaning staff really do. The people were friendly. The continental breakfast was the smallest one id ever seen. But the pool was warm and clean and I liked the bar right beside it.
“Inexpensive not Cheap”
Inexpensive good amenities great pool and poolside bar. 4.5 stars in my book
“second time around”
We got in around noon and asked for the room we had in April earlier this year, they were very happy to accomodate us. The staff are wonderful, it's like being part of a family, everyone goes about their business making sure you're having the best time you can. A little boy's cousin lost her earring in the pool and the guy at the desk lent his own private pair of goggles to the boy to look for it. Personal touches like that will have us coming back, every time.
