“Wonderful time & place!!”

We really enjoyed our room and the Hotel.. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Naples... We live in Venice and had tickets to the Philharmonic Center. We were soooo glad we had decided to spend the night instead 0f driving back to Venice....

“Pleasantly surprised!”

I was in Naples for a conference being held @ Ritz-Carlton, registered too late to get a room there. I picked this Doubletree on-line by price, distance from conference. This hotel was FAB, very friendly & homey atmosphere. Rooms are very clean & modern amenities. The staff here were exceptional everything I asked for was "no problem", very helpful with any questions about area, etc...

“Nice Hotel - Too Far Out of Town”

The hotel has lovely and well equipped suites, delightful staff, complimentary cookies, apples, coffee, free wifi, excellent co-located Asian restaurant and a happy hour at the hotel bar every evening. A lot to commend a modern and nicely appointed hotel - BUT - the location if you are looking to enjoy the delights of the wonderful town of Naples is not good. The hotel is just over 10 miles from Naples on a busy highway which makes accessing the cafes, bars and fabulous shops in the town a 21 mile round trip. If you are going to Naples, to enjoy Naples we would recomend a hotel in the town centre. If you are on a business trip then this hotel would work very well for you.

“Like Home from Home”

What a wonderful time my mother and I had on our recent holiday, thanks to the hospitality of the Doubletree Suites by Hilton in Naples. The Reception staff were especially friendly and welcoming, and always willing to offer advice and suggestions of places to see and visit - nothing was too much trouble for them. Hotel was conveniently situated on the US41, with a small range of shops, including a bank & supermarket, just ten minutes walk or short drive away. Beautiful beaches were only two miles, but Downtown Naples is about ten miles. Our room was very clean and spacious, with small kitchen area and fridge. The breakfast buffet was about ten dollars for all you can eat, but had a wide ranging choice of food - cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, waffles, as well as cooked food and coffee/juice. Add to this the complementary drinks, apples and warm cookies (to die for!) in the hotel foyer, and there's no need to eat again until dinner! Give Doubletree Suites a try - you won't regret it! We'll certainly be going back.

Area recommendations

An evening boat trip to see the sunset and dolphins cannot be missed. Vanderbilt Beach and Wiggins Pass beach are fabulous. Naples Pier, 5th Avenue and 3rd Street are fantastic. Tin City is great for gifts and eating out. If you want a bit of history, take a Sightseeing Trolley Tour bus - a hop-on-hop-off circular tour of Naples lasting two hours. And of course the Everglades for airboat rides and hold an alligator!
