“Disappointed”
I reserved a one-night stay at the Vino Bello after reading the great reviews of the hotel. The hotel finishes are very nice, but the construction is cheap; we could hear everything through the walls, including when our neighbors were walking around their room, flushing toilets, open/closing cupboard doors. The hotel is also located in an industrial area, and not near downtown Napa (about 15-20 min by car).
“Thank you Vino Bello!”
We checked in late on a Saturday evening. Kudos to Crissie (Krissie) at the front desk for her courtesy and extreme willingness to help. We were nicely acknowledged as recently married on a fancy card at the front desk. When we got to our room there was a bottle of dessert wine chilling in the fridge. There was also a card welcoming us and expressing good wishes for our recent marriage along with a complimentary corkscrew. The room was not quite as large as we thought it would be but it was very nicely appointed. The Vino Bello really added to our wonderful time in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. We highly recommend this hotel.
“In a business park, really!”
When we planned this trip, this hotel came up. We booked it with some friends and expected a great vacation in Napa. It is FAR from the wineries and lacks the feeling of safety and beauty. The workout room was VERY dirty and lacked air conditioning. I didn't feel safe running around the business park by myself. The disclaimer on the outside of the door says it all: this building contains cancer producing materials, contact the front desk if you have any concerns, are you kidding! It is cheap tuscan at best. I would not recommend this to any person thinking it is is Napa, wine country.
“Great place to stay in Napa”
We truly enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel
“Beautiful views - it was great!”
Grounds & rooms were beautiful. The staff was more than willing to help you and accommodate in any way possible. The only negative was we were put in a handicapped room with absolutely no counter or storage in the bathroom and less storage in the bedroom. We asked to be moved but they said there were no other rooms available, however they did bring us a small table for the bathroom which helped since we were piling everything on the end of the bathtub. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
“A solid choice”
Second time at the Vino Bello and I definitely do not have one bad thing to say. The room had a pretty lame view of the parking lot, but that's hardly a complaint. I think it's extremely reasonable price is in direct contrast to its high quality service and amenities. It's a great place to stay when in Napa and I will probably return in the future.
“Lovely resort for an extended Napa stay”
In my opinion, the location is very convenient for a stay in Napa to explore wine country. Vino Bello Resort is 10 minutes drive from downtown Napa, but allows easy access to either Silverado Hwy or Hwy 29 (wineries are located along both). The rooms are tastefully decorated, very homey, and full of amenities. We stayed in the resort suite, which is the smallest of the room types, but it was spacious, with a sofa and sitting area, a very large bath tub, and its own patio. There is a washer/dryer, fridge, microwave, plates and utensils in the room, thus perfect for those who want to feel like they are in a home away from home
“Solid in every way, occasionally rude front desk service”
Solid, high quality room and service. Everything was clean and as expected, and the restaurant (and room service) were top-notch.
“Boring luxury surrounded by business office buildings”
Resort itself is in really good condition and definetely 4 stars: very well decorated, clean, almost brand new, spa on site. But there are some minuses: location surrounded by business offices, the closest grocery store is approximately 3 miles away, the closest park (Kennedy)/walking trails is 2.5 miles away, construction goes on side of the resort - 1 Vino Bello building is getting finished and there is construction at Meritage resort (kinda same resort) going, there are only 2 half working bbq grills for approximately 300 - 400 guests, there is no entertainment/gaming room/arcade etc. except free movie rentals and bocca balls game outside. Therefore almost all activities (except swimming pool/spa) require driving.
“Napa convenience”
I liked this place...conveniently located, although not too picturesque...not bad if you get a good rate
