“" Our Own Little Home "”
A very welcoming accommodation. Every guest has their own individual unit. Some overlook the river, others the lovely grounds. It was very private and had all the amenities we look for in a vacation travel stay. They have a large very warm swimming pool with room for many. The club house offers activities from wine tasting tours & wine & cheese parties to zip line excursions for the more adventurous travelers. Conveniently located to the town center of Napa and extremely easy to find from the Hwy. Worth the stay we will return on our next visit to Napa.
“A wonderful surprise and pure joy.”
We did not expect much but arrived to this beautiful little pearl of a place. Check in was a breeze and the girls in the reception very nice. Entering our mobile home we were surprised to find it clean to the smallest detail, fresh ice, A/C running (it was close to 100 degrees outside), big tub, dishwasher etc. It was 100% clean which is a rarety these days. We were sad we to only stay for two nights. Enjoyed our patio for all meals and our kids (3 & 6) loved being able to play in the grass etc. Not to mention they loved the pool and just exploring the area. If you are traveling with kids this is a wonderful alternative to an enclosed hotel room. Bed and sofabed were very comfortable too.
“Great find...”
Cute, clean and comfy! A great value. Plan on staying there again the next time we go.
“I will definitely go back!!!”
Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance crew was extremely friends and you could just tell they all loved they jobs!! Each cottage was clean, comfortable and welcoming!!
“Cute and cosy in a good location”
I travelled with my partner and another couple to Napa Valley and thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay (1 night) at the River Point Resort. For the price we knew it was not going to be a huge room with every luxury but it was one of the only accommodations who would allow a 1 night stay which we required. The cabin was clean and tidy and perfect for our requirements, which was basically just a place to rest our heads after a day of wine tasting. It was pretty small but again this was fine for us. I think if a family were to stay it might be a little small to be in one of the cottages/cabins as the fold out sofa does take up alot of space. All in all we were very pleased with the accommodation and the location was great.
“River Point Rocks”
Nice bungalow in this timeshare goes hotel.
“Cute "cottages"”
It ended up being okay, but I was a little surprised that the "cottages" where modular homes with the trailer hitch still attached.
“Good value for the money but not really large enough for a family”
Overall we had a good experience at this resort. I was offput, however, by the hard sell timeshare presentation that the staff try to get you to sign up for. Also not happy that the front desk charged me for my room after I had already paid for it on Expedia, took 3 days to get it off my card. The "cottage" was cute and well appointed. I would prefer something larger though, with the couch extended to a bed, other items of furniture ended up in the kitchen....... Don't know if the resort offers larger cottages but for a family of 4 it was too small. The resort itself was nice and in general the staff were helpful despite my experience at check-in. I would say though that the surrouding area, i.e. the city of Napa was pretty rundown and not what I expected of the Napa Valley. The resort is, however, not far from the wineries and other nicer towns such as Yountville or St Helena. I would recommend the resort for its affordability but not for a family, better for just a couple.
“Funky surprise”
I could never imagine being charmed by a trailer park, but in this case, I was. It's in a lovely riverside setting, with parklike grounds, and a walking trail alongside the river. The trailers are all painted in yellow, blue and red, and have been decked out so that they don't look quite like trailers and are set among flowering bushes and trees. They are extremely spacious inside, with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bath, very good quality linens and other appointments, like a three and a half star hotel. Kitchens are well equipped. And all of this is very close to downtown Napa, which is a pleasure in itself. They have a big outdoor pool and two outdoor hot tubs, but no food and just pretty awful available coffee. but that's because most people stay for an extended time and do their own cooking. I got a very good rate, and was quite happy here. For an inexpensive place to stay in this area, it turned out to be an unexpected jewel.
“Presentation?”
This place reminded me of an old movie - the rooms are actual single-wide trailers with vaulted ceilings. They were perfectly fine to stay in, clean and plenty of room, but the big surprise was that upon checking in, I was expected to attend a presentation. I had no idea this was a time-share situation when I booked it on this site and was quite surprised. With that said, when I politely declined their offer they seemed ok with it, but we were refused a late checkout and did not have any other dealings with them after. It was a cost-efficient place to stay in Napa if you don't mind the time-share aspect.
