Entertainment
Experience Wine Country Romance and Charm At Our Napa Valley Historic HotelEstablished in 1884 by Captain Albert Hatt, the Historic Napa Mill, a registered Historic Landmark, provided over 100 years of service to the people of California's Napa Valley. At one time, the warehouse stored fertilizers, feed, supplies, and Napa Valley wines for local vineyards. During the 1990s, the Napa River Inn was constructed inside the Historic Napa Mill and warehouse by Napa Mill LLC. Designs for all interiors of the hotel were inspired by noted designer Sandra Blake -- with many rooms and suites designed to reflect the original building and feel of HISTORIC DOWNTOWN NAPA.. Nestled on the riverfront where Captain Hatt once operated his shipping and merchant business, the Historic Napa River Inn today welcomes international guests. Enjoy live entertainment, fine dining, wine tasting, and shops. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, this downtown Napa historic inn will surprise and delight. Explore all of the attractions near the Napa River Inn, including: * The Historic Napa Mill – Enjoy shops and galleries, outdoor dining along the river, live music and a wine bar, a garden stroll, and a riverwalk, making the Napa River Inn at the Historic Napa Mill a destination in itself. * Wine Tasting Rooms – Downtown Napa has the distinction of 14 wine tasting rooms. This is the largest number of tasting rooms in any one town in America. Ask our concierge to assist with reservations. Additionally, Napa River Inn hosts an evening wine tasting for our guests – held in Silo’s Jazz club and Wine bar. * Local Winery Tours – Our Concierge can assist you in planning tours of world renown Napa Valley wineries where “cab is king.” Many of the more popular wineries require advance reservations. As we are locally owned and operated, we have insiders access to some of the most treasured wines in the country.

“Very happy”
The Napa River Inn was a wonderful base for our short stay in the Napa Valley. A slection of excellent resturants were just a couple of minutes walk away.
“Characterful waterfront Napa venue”
Ideally located river front hotel in central Napa with large comfortable well appointed rooms at a reasonable price for the quality. Recommended
“Costly stay in a cramped barn!”
Luckily, we stayed only 3 nights. The actual rooms are not where the promotional photos of the entrance were taken; they’re in a barn clad in corrugated iron at the back. Our room was very small and the bed sloped towards the middle of the mattress, so one slept in V-position. The (advertised) wireless internet connection was in fact a second-rate modem so slow we couldn’t receive emails, it was slower than dial-up connection and there's no option to attach a network cable (why?). When we complained we were told “yes, they were aware it’s very slow”. Yet, reading about the hotel and the (seriously over-priced) restaurants attached to it, one would think this to be a well-appointed historic building conversion with good facilities; nothing further from reality.
