“Ok, nothing more and nothing less”
This was an ok hotel, The breakfast was so so, the room was too small
“Napa”
The front desk was very helpful as we had an emergency come up where my wife had to print out a contract from her real estate agent, proof read it, and then fax the changes back to her agent. The front desk folks were very helpful and very patient. Good customer service.
“Not impressed”
Double beds were really small and one was under the window curtain so really uncomfortable for the person sleeping on that side. Breakfast was okay.
“Good for short visits to Wine Country”
Smaller hotel but comfortable enough for a short visit. We were running the Napa to Sonoma Half Marathon and the location was perfect for us. Decent breakfast in the mornings - pastries, cereal, toast, juices, coffee. Outdoor pool and seating area was nice! Staff was very helpful to provide suggestions for local wineries and attractions.
“You get what you paid for...”
The manager of the hotel was rude. When we first got there we asked if we could possibly use a restroom, he told us, NO and that there was no bathrooms there??? Overall the room was ok .. just stay away from the mean man!!
“okay for the price”
served its purpose. old place but good location. things are pricey in napa but it was a place to sleep.
“Cheap”
A cheap motel with outside entrances. Adequate accommodations. Other places were full for the marathon so took this one. In a pinch OK. It was nice that there were places to eat really close by and Whole Foods was just across the highway.
“Warning - to those who are sensitive to odors”
I booked 2 rooms (one for me and I brought my boss). The hotel was close to a convention we needed to attend and in this ecconomy we are trying to keep expenses down. The hotel was old, but fresh paint on everything (at least they are trying). Service was good. BUT the mattresses were old and not very compfortable - but again, keeping expenses down was our goal. Upon entering the rooms we were both greeted with the overwhelming oder of room deodorizer. Yes it was flowerly and yet my eyes began to water and my boss immediately left his room and came to mine. We opened our doors turned on the heaters (needed the fans) and worked with our doors open for more than an hour. After returning from dinner, I was able to sleep, but only because I use a sleep-apnea device that filters the air for me. I could not go back to this hotel. I do not know if they were attempting to cover something or if this was the normal SOP, but both rooms were the same. My boss has not let me forget this and plans to make his own reservations from now on. (maybe this is not so bad after all!!!)
“quick trip”
Had a friend visiting from the great white north. Thought he might enjoy a little trip to Napa. Found this hotel, and as we are on a budget, took a chance and was not disappointed. Staff was great, room was more than adequate, though a little tired. Bathroom was clean and large. Comfortable beds and the continental breakfast worked for me and my friend (thought the coffee could use a little help). I will come back again. Great value for the price!
“Strong odors, loud wall heater exposed pipes in bathroom, thin walls - get me home!”
Hotel nicely painted on outsideand but cheap and poorly maintained interior. Train tracks 50 feet from my room. Police car in the parking lot when I arrived. I should have turned around and found another hotel!
