“Great hotel for the price!”

We stayed at the Doubletree during our visit to Napa for the holidays. We were very impressed with the hotel quality and service. The women at the front desk were very friendly and greeted us with freshly baked cookies! The room was really large and clean. Would come back in a heartbeat.

“Good value”

Good value and pretty good location to Napa, rooms were not super fancy but very big and comfortable, the grounds and the restaurant/bar were very nice, and the staff was very pleasant.

“Nice hotel, but very uncomfortable bathrooms”

This hotel was clean, had comfortable beds and a friendly staff, however, the bathroom was so awkward I don't think I could stay there again. While it was a large bathroom there was absolutely no surface area to even put a toothbrush, not even on the pedestal sink! We either had to set things down on the floor or move them back into the room. While I appreciate saving water, the water pressure in the shower was so ridiculously low we ended taking twice as long to shower.

“Napa Valley Hotel”

The front desk people were very nice gave us two hot chocolate chips cookies when we checked in. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant food was good. The price was fair and the distance from the wineries was only 6-7 miles. We would stay there again.

Near the wineries and also shopping near wallmart.

“Very nice”

The location was perfect for my work(easy on and off to other locales). The room was very comfortable with whatever I needed available. Staff was super freindly and informative and the in dining was convienent and satisfying.

“american canyon”

Generic hotel, bathroom was outdated and toilet didn't flush. Interior a little drab, but close to Napa and much better value than staying in Napa. Spa connected to hotel was nice. Would recommend for those looking for good value close to Napa, but don't expect "resort" hotel by any means.

Area recommendations

Stayed here due to proximity to Napa and was cheaper option than staying in Napa. Good value for location.

“little oasis”

this was a nice hotel just shy of real Napa wine country on one side and 3 miles from Discovery Kingdom on the other. A little pricey for fairly normal hotel amenities but contemporary styling and Leed Gold certified building features made it worth it for me.

“Nice stay but could use a little TLC”

Overall, we had a nice stay at the now Doubletree. Our room was comfortable other than a poorly functioning hi-efficiency toilet. The koi/ swan pond is charming but needs to be kept a bit cleaner--feathers everywhere. Breakfast was excellent for food and service, but dinner was disappointing on both notes. With a little tweaking, this could be a gem.

“Poor Customer Service”

I was given a different room than the one I had booked through expedia. According to front desk person "that was the only room available as booked by a third party" whatever that means. This was clearly a lie, so when I confronted the manager on why they had lied to me, he simply said "OK?" like "meaning so what?" Very disappointed, make sure you have documentation of the room you requested or they will give you a lower quality room.
