“Great Stay. Bed & Breakfast.”
The owners/workers are all so sweet! The rooms are comfortable but not too fancy. Great breakfast, great stay overall. Within walking distance to most everything.

We returned to Elm House for the second time. Both experiences were absolutely the best. It gives the feeling of a bed and breakfast not a Best Western Hotel. The owners do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. This includes a fabulous breakfast as well as terrific suggestions as to what and where to go to make your wine country experience all it can be.
“A Real Find in a Pleasant Town”
Half way through a 5 week tour of California and Nevada, this hotel was one of the better ones we have experienced. From the initial welcome through to a pleasant breakfast in the morning, this was a real 'find'.
“Great place”
I normally avoid Best Westerns but this Best Western Plus is one of the best B & B's I've ever encountered. Quality and service were excellent, and I would have no hesitation in using it again.
“Surprisingly Satisfied, definitely go back!”
We just recently returned home from our romantic trip to the Napa Valley and had such a great time. We stayed at the Elm House Inn for just a single night because we had reservations at other hotels for the other nights we were in town. Going into the trip, we didn't have much expectations for this hotel because of the name "Best Western" - no offense, just not expecting bell service or Egyptian cotton. This hotel had more of a bed and breakfast feel to it than a traditional hotel. This place was great! The staff was very personable, helpful with dining suggestions, and overall a great budget-conscious place to stay. It's location is close to the freeway which is easy access for visiting nearby towns and about a mile from downtown Napa. Our corner room was spacious and nice, just a little noisy with the windows open due to the road being so close. But, it was worth it with the great weather we had. The complimentary breakfast was simple but absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend this hotel to someone looking to not spend $$$$ while in Napa!
“BW Napa”
Nice little hotel. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again, hopefully have more time out for reservation next time so we dont get downstairs next to parking lot.

“Close to everything, charming, clean, bring your own blanket”
Everything (well almost everything) about this hotel was delightful. We loved the location. It is in a somewhat residential area of Napa but right off the freeway and close to absolutely everything. It was very clean and tidy and the furnishings, layout and rose garden were delightful. Breakfast was extensive and tasty. Warm homemade cookies in the afternoon were delightful. Our room was clean and well appointed. Our beds were lumpy and the blankets were miserable. A heavy cotton blanket between two sheets is what was provided. I requested something else and was told that the blankets provided were then only kind they had. Bring your own blanket, and this inn is perfect. We would go back in a heartbeat, and feel somewhat smug to have "discovered" such lovely accomodations for such a reasonable price, in such an expensive tourist area.
“Can't wait to go back!”
The Best Western Elm House was wonderful! The staff was super friendly and helpful. This hotel has a total bed and breakfast feel, with fresh cooked complimentary breakfast every morning, warm cookies and milk at night. It was a great visit, and I can't wait to go back!
“Great little hotel for a getaway”
We are a couple in our 30's traveling with no kids. We do a fair amount of international travel including Europe, Asia, and Latin America. We rack up 60-75 hotel nights a year. We were looking for a weekend getaway to the Napa Valley and came across the stellar reviews for this place. I see a lot of reviews disclaiming the 'Best Western" label affiliation of the hotel, however, traveling internationally Best Western's are usually great hotels. To cut to the chase, this is a great property. The owners and staff were fantastic on every item from check in, to recommendations for dining and directions. You get the sense that these people really proud of their hotel and their city, and truly want you to have a good time. While many of the hotel's I've stayed in throw around the term "guest", the staff and owners go out of their way to actually make you feel like one. Our room was clean, and well appointed. It's definitely more B&B than hotel, but not in an old-room, no privacy way. Breakfast is out of this world. Coffee is great. The cookies in the evening are worth making a trip back by the hotel at 6pm even if you are heading back out. If you are looking for the Park Hyatt, or the Four Seasons, this is not it, move on. If you're comparing to any other hotel, it wins on almost every other factor.
