We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in May. We had a lovely stay and would LOVE to go back!
CONS: hard bed (but we fixed this by sleeping on top of one of the duvets as they give you two for the bed). The air conditioning was weak. Dated room.
PROS: Restaurant downstairs was full of tasteful creations that made you wanting more! The breakfast was very large and was the best we've had in Italy. The hotel had an amazing location and was right beside the bus stop. The people that work in both the hotel and restaurant were very accommodating and helpful. If you go to the restaurant make sure you try the gnocchi! They make it fresh! We ate at the restaurant twice and would have gone there every night if we were around! Sterphano is a great restaunt manager and he made the experience even better!
Everything was incredible and we recommend this to other people wanting to stay in the area. The hotel is in the heart of Torbole.
Tips: If you plan on renting a car, go to the Mom & Pop car rental place that is at the G8 gas station in Riva Del Garda. The car was 200 euros for 3 days and Avis wanted to charge us 550 euros for 5 days. Also, the bus from Verona Train Stationwas only 6 euros each which was very affordable.
There is a winery (Madonna di Vittore) that is only a 20 min walk from the hotel. Make sure you go for a wine tour and tasting. Their olive oil is superb as well.

We stayed for 6 nights. The bed was comfortable and the room met our requirements and more. The location is within walking distance of Riva Del Garda and has numerous activity centres nearby.
You can rent bikes directly from the hotel for a fantastic price and the staff were incredibly helpful and polite. The breakfast was perfect! We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

We can really recommend this hotel and Torbole on Lake Garda. Torbole is just the right size, with enough going on but not too busy. It is at the more mountainous and less touristy end of the lake. Most of the visitors are Italian or German which was great and many were keen cyclists - so it had a very active atmosphere. The town has some good restuarants and nice shops. Boat trips down the lake are easy but hiring a car allows you to go up into the mountains as well. The hotel was great - newly renovated and painted. The room had everything we needed. It is in a great location, surrounded by mountains and a few hundred yards from the main square so you are close to the restaurants and shops but it is also very quiet and peaceful. The staff are all very freindly and the service is excellent. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and you could buy snacks and drinks from the bar. The swimming pool is perfect, in a garden setting. Having travelled around the beautiful lake and up into the mountains, we felt that Torbole was the best location and this hotel suited us perfectly. A great holdiday. Enjoy!!!

Santoni Freestyle Hotel is, by far, the most bike-friendly hotel in which I have ever stayed. The rooms, although no-frills, are nicely remodeled and modern, with decent beds and enough storage space for luggage. My room had a balcony which overlooked the city. The breakfast was terrific...perfect to fuel up for a long day on the trails, and they encourage you to pack a lunch for the road (they even brought foil out to wrap my sandwiches!). Perhaps the best part was the staff. Aldo and Lara were both exceptionally helpful in providing me with maps, information, and pointing me out to great rides for both mountain and road biking. On the morning of my checkout, I decided to go for one last ride. The hotel kept my luggage and allowed me to shower at the end of my ride before hitting the road. Terrific place!
