"On The Beach, Not Too Far From Local Shops Further"
We stayed in April 2015 with my wife and son (15 months) and the hotel was pleasant, staff and animation team are excellent. I felt the hotel was a good choice to travel too with my young son as I was wary before booking weather the standards would be good. Rooms are dated but have a modern look. Only thing is a bit more dusting needs to be done. Linens changed daily, waiters, staff we met were fantastic and always had a smile although most possible work day and night. We were given an upgrade but I paid extra for sea view and found the view limited but we didn't mind as the room was spacious and clean. Shops are not too far but we only find out on our last day and spent £10 a day on a taxi to Naama Bay everyday :-(

I've been to this hotel three times now and although there appear to be less staff around the pools during the day, your not plied with refreshment quite so frequently, everybody is very friendly and helpful. They appreciate a returning guest, I was picked up from the airport, given the same room & given a free A la Carte meal. I was recognised and acknowledged by many of the staff.
its a hotel which, if I return to Sharm, I will inevitably try to visit again.

We stayed 4 nights and it was great! The 3 pools were very clean with ample sunbeds.
The food gave plenty of choice and the breads, soups, salads and desserts were lovely - the mains were a bit less so!
The hotel and facilities were very good and the staff were friendly and helpful without exemption.
Would readily stay again!

Tiran Sharm hotel has a lot going for it with some excellent and very helpful members of staff - especailly the 'also-rans'. The main problem that you are not informed about in advance is that it is so far out of the main town that it is very expensive to go elsewhere for meals by the time you have added on the two-way taxi fare. The only real option is to go full inclusive from the start - not easy to change once you are there! The hotel is run by an Italian company and the whole focus is Italian - nothing bad in that but it does mean that you need to accept that many of the staff struggle communicating in English. Also the food has a strong Italian bias. The food is of a decent quality, especially for a running buffet-type meal but it is a little too much the same each day. Trip are organised well, but again there is a strong Italian focus in communication. The one thing that I cannot understand is why the hotel has its whole schedule one hour ahead of the rest of the country. It is difficult to work out when events are as sometimes (e.g. flights) you need to work on Egyptian time but at others (e.g. meals, end of bar service etc) you have to work on hotel time - and it is easy to be caught out! Having said all that, the hotel is very well organised and there are a lot of activities if you want and plenty of relaxing pools, sun-space etc. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time within the large, seafronted hotel area and all will be well!
Amazing entertainment staff. Food at the Italian resto was delicious. Restaurants should stay open later than 9pm or there should be a beach grill option for late night snacks and mid day snacks (230-5pm)
