If you're going to Mykonos, stay at Boheme. The hotel exceeded our expectations on all fronts. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, taking care of anything we asked. At check in, they provided us with a map of the island with suggestions of places to visit at each location. The rooms were clean and charming, food was great, location was perfect and view was beautiful. We will never stay anywhere else in Mykonos!

Fantastic hotel, great location, helpful staff, but some teething problems--power went out several times one night and no hot water the next morning. I had to take a cold shower, not exactly what I want at an expensive resort.

I loved how laid back the hotel was. The staff were great and looked after us all day from breakfast, to being round the pool, to check out. They were attentive and helpful but not pushy, which is perfect for me. We arrived at the airport to a huge queue for taxis, so i called the hotel and they sent their driver to pick us up within 10 minutes.
Good wifi in reception, but a bit weak by the pool and in the rooms. The room was lovely and we had a balcony view of the sea and hills.
There is a shop at the end of the driveway to the hotel where you can get pretty much everything from.
We hired quad bikes just down the road towards the old town for a couple of days, and drove 15-20 minutes to the beaches on the south of the island which were amazing. Plus you get to drive around and see some amazing sights at your own pace.
The walk down to Mykonos old town takes around 10 minutes, but walking back takes about 15-20 depending how you're feeling after visiting the bars, restaurants, clubs in the town.
Tharroe is set apart right on top of the hill and you can see it from the coast standing out. It does mean that by the pool you get the lovely breeze which lets you sit confortably in the heat. The last day there was no breeze and i ducked for cover.
There's an ok number of sunbeds by the pool, though i think they could do with a few more.
Having seen other hotels around I think Tharroe is not going to be beaten by much else on the island.
All in all we loved it.

You get an excellent view of the sunset and beach below, with the beach, shops, bus stops, taxi rank and night life all within a 10 min walk. Hotel staff are very friendly with a good selection of food and drink if you're staying poolside for the day and good cocktails before you head out for your evening.
Overlooking a pretty harbour and backed by a hill lined with four windmills, Mikonos Town is Greece’s most exclusive and hedonistic party destination. The small town has quaint cobbled streets and whitewashed houses; its glamorous nightlife, five-star design hotels and chic eateries attract celebrities and an international gay party crowd. The best beaches are out of town, on the south coast, served by taxi boat from the harbour.
