“Best Hotel in Mykonos”

We spent five wonderful days at the Yiannaki Hotel in Mykonos. Located in Ornos bay, away from the insane (but fun) Mykonos town. Yiannis and his team were so friendly from the first moment we arrived. The ladies at the desk (Stavroula and Katerina) were very knowledgeable, and gave us great advice about locations, restaurants, excursions and the weather (the winds impact everything!). Speaking of restaurants, don't miss Avli Tou Thodori in Platis Gialos - great food and great on-the-beach views... best food on the island! It really is a 3-5 minute walk to the Ornos Bay beach, a great "organized" beach with umbrellas, shops, eats, and lots of people (but not too many). A trip to Mykonos MUST include a day trip to Delos - an archeological wonder of the first order - we enjoyed it more than the Acropolis in Athens. Also, rent a car and explore - best driving opportunity on any of the islands - easy and safe! Mykonos was the high-point of our 15-day Greek vacation, and the Yiannaki was a big part of the reason. We will definitely stay here again!

Family-friendly activities
Rent a car (cheap!) and drive to every one of the beaches! It is a fun-filled day, and you will still be back home for late dinner!

“Great Hotel, wonderful service, beautiful beach near in 3-min walk, great price and value”

The hotel is great, clean, comfortable, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is a bit calmer than the rest of Mykonos and the beach is only 3 mins away - a beautiful beach with great places to eat and sit in front of the ocean. Highly recommend this hotel.

“Very plesant stay”

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.The wifi in the hotel was outstanding and the hotel was very clean and close to the beach, would definitly stay again. Overall expearance 5 stars!

“The Yianakki does it better!”

We cannot recommend the Yianakki Hotel highly enough. The whole hotel bounces with happiness and quiet efficiency.Food both at breakfast and dinner excellent in quality ,quantity and value.I doubt if there is another Hotel on Mikonos that can deliver that .Staff were like old friends when we left. Without any question this is a hotel worth coming back to! Probaby the best short break we have ever had.

Area recommendations
Great beaches with a civilised feel to them. Good Walks along winding lanes or footpaths ;buy maps.Villages that still feel Greek with the cosmopoliton Town a joy to stroll through by day or night.People told us the 'Gay' element would be off putting, far from it, my wife and I never had anything other than the feeling that everyone was welcome and of equal value.The weather in September perfect.Give it a try

“On recommande!”

Accueil chaleureux et sympathique. Hôtel tres propre. Piscine et Resto très sympa. L'hôtel est proche de la plage d'ornos et Mykonos town, donc très bien situé. Bref, très bonne destination!

“hôtel yiannaki : proche de la plage d'ornos”

très bon établissement à tous les niveaux, tout est fait avec sérieux.... la prise en charge, l'accueil sont excellents. Le personnel discret, efficace, disponible et vigilant sur tout, se révèle de très bon conseil ( sur tout, déplacements, excursions..) et peut vous aider dans toute sorte de démarche (taxi, bus, location, réservation de visite, courrier...la liste serait longue). La vue est agréable et reposante dominante, l'hôtel en lui-même est un très joli endroit, parfaitement entretenu, dans les moindres détails. Bravo...
