“Not what I expected”

The hotel is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, but the interior of the room doesn't prove that at all, unfortunately... No carpet, no mini bar, a very old television (small screen too), the room basically looked like a big bathroom with a small then average bed,,, the location and the private parking are the only thing that puts this hotel in somewhat good light

“Good customer service. Need vehicle to get around”

Friendly staff. Nice pool, with ok breakfast. Need atvs to get to main town as hotel is in ornos bay. Internet works best by the pool.

“Great Choice at Ornos Beach”

I was nervous about booking the Dionysos Hotel, due to reading mixed reviews on trip advisor. I needn't have been worried though, it was a great hotel, offering us everything we wanted, good location, modern hotel (not too big, not too small in size), very clean, great breakfast selection and friendly staff, more than willing to help us with any questions or needs. I would recommend this hotel to all and anyone. We had a fantastic holiday and Dionysos certainly helped to make it so.

Area recommendations

A must is Mykonos Town, but also use the boat ferries at Ornos Beach to travel around the island.

“reccomend a return visit”

lovely hotel in Ornos, easy to find, lots of nice(if pricey places to eat close by) the hotel was very quiet , beautifully maintained rooms bright , nice comfortable beds, clean bathroom would certainly return to stay in the same hotel on my next trip to mykonos

Ornos is outside Mykonos town but easy access for the whole island as i only went to flop on a beach read and get a tan ........ parking in Mykonos is a nightmare- was told to park by the wind mills to visit the town, after trying there twice i found it easier to drive to the north of the town and park at the port(well sign posted in english) and walk in to the town about 5 minutes by the harbour from the ferry port lose your self in the narrow streets and alleys stop for a drink in one of the many bars and coffee shops to people watch day time its cruise ship excursions , evenings its the people staying on the island my favourite beach was kalafati beach about 10k from myk town quiet with clear water , with diving and windsurfing on offer Elia beach was very pretty but full of very loud italians eating out was expensive even for very simple meals - this could be as a result of the financial situation at the moment or just greed....

“Nice location and excellent service”

This hotel is very close to the beach, just 5 minutes walking. The sale manager lady from the reception desk is very friendly and helpful, she provided me information on local attraction, transportation and plenty of sightseeing recommendations. I would recommend to stay at this hotel.

“Closed to beach, economy choice”

Good location that very closed to Ornos Bay (5mins walk), with very nice restaurants at the beach, and super markets. Very nice room with big bath rooms, at a economic price.

Recommend to rent a car/bike for going to downtown. Only 15mins drive.

“Recomend to everybody!”

Excellent location - 100 metres to walk to the most beautiful beach! Very simple breakfast (included), however you feel this fresh start just what you need. A lot of shoppings (bakery, supermarket, pharmacy,etc..), and also few bars and restorants with dellishious Greek food just minutes to walk. Rooms are with balcony - couzy private luxury.

“peccato xke potrebbero fare di meglio”

gli spazi comuni sono molto belli e tenuti molto bene,la piscina era bellissima così come la veranda su cui veniva servita la colazione. il personale è stato veramente gentile e accomodante,peccato ke la pulizia delle camere lasciasse un po a desiderare e i letti non sono matrimoniali bensì 2 singoli messi vicini cosa che per le coppie magari è un po scomoda...apparte questo la posizione non è xniente male,a pochi passi ci sono delle spiagge attrezzate ottime xle famiglie ma per i ragazzi lo sconsiglio xke il posto +frequentato è il tropicana,sia cm spiaggia ke cm discoteca e dista una quindicina di minuti in motorino,così come il centro di mykonos
