Lovely little b&b. Great air con on hot days. Lovely little cafe bar tasso round corner for pastry and coffee each morning. Paolo very friendly. Also a lovely lady who checked us in and cleaned our room. Excellent location to beach area and main square. Clean. Comfortable. Great value for money
This B&B is on Corso Italia, the main street of Sorrento, so it is very easy to get around. I read comments about the noise level but it was no issue for us. The only thing is that the beds were pretty hard but after a long day of exploring we slept like babies. The breakfast is a typical Italian breakfast so pastries and coffee. Their coffee was very good and I was obsessed with their cheese and sweet rolls. (Literally obsessed) The family that owns the B&B was super friendly and helpful with any of our questions. You can leave your luggage in the lobby after checking out if you want to continue to explore. Probably one of our favorite things was that this was a great place to meet people from all over the world! Overall I wholeheartedly recommend and if I go back to Sorrento I'll know where to stay! (Going back for the rolls and cheese!)
Oh and we stayed from October 18-21. It was perfect because the weather was great and there were no huge flocks of tourists.

"Great B&B, Great Value, Great Location - Excellent"
Casa Dominova B&B was ideal for our stay in Sorrento and we highly recommend it. It was great Value (a lot cheaper than some places we looked), centrally located – it is right on the narrow streets of Sorrento where all the shops and restaurants are, literally a 3 min walk to the slope leading down to the Port and a 5-10 minute walk to the main train station. The room was big and clean with Air conditioning and even a little kitchen area (although we had two electric rings but no pot/pans to use on them) but the fridge was really handy (under counter not mini fridge), we made rolls for day trips out and brought large bottles of drink to decant into our smaller bottle for travel which was cheaper.
The Breakfast was continental and served in a lovely courtyard - you wouldn't even know you were right in the centre of Sorrento. Breakfast included cereal, croissants, doughnuts, yoghurt, Fruit, Only thing we really missed was Toast. They offered tea and of course Coffee! You could have cappuccino, latte or even a triple espresso! All very nice.
They do not have tea/coffee making facilities in the room so bring a travel kettle if you want that sort of thing.
It is ideally sited to explore Sorrento, Pompeii, Vesuvius and the amafi coast.

Located on a pedestrian street with shops and restaurants. Very good restaurants close by, and safe to walk around at night. We walked down to the nearby marina for seafood. The restaurants were right on the water. We enjoyed the recommendations made by Roberta at the front desk. We loved that our room was modern and extremely clean. Lovely big shower. The small private terrace was just the place to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee first thing in the morning. Our daughter and her husband and 2 children were also staying there in a nice large room. The staff kindly accommodated us by serving breakfast for all of us together in the large room. I must say that breakfast was great with everything freshly prepared.

The rating system for hotels, this is a three star, do not take into major consideration such as peace and quiet along with items such as historical intrigue. This recently renovated hotel was once a monastery where Sorrento's early Catholic Saint Antoninus of Sorrento (died 625) once lived. A beautiful majolica tile of him in front of the hotel is depicted inside their lobby. The exterior façade of the villa has not changed and it is placed on an early and narrow medieval street that is therefore not accessible to regular traffic resulting in very quiet rooms throughout this small complex. This avoids the dilemma of finding a very convenient hotel that results in many rooms facing a loud and busy street. Having visited this wonderful town many times this unique.
