If you're looking for 5 star luxury, this is not the hotel for you. But if you want somewhere convenient to the rail/bus station and close to the town centre at a good price, this is the place. That price includes wi-fi, sky tv, room safe. Our room was kept extremely clean and, on arrival, Pasquale gave us his mobile number in case we had any problems during our stay in Sorrento. There were none, but he was always willing to give advice whenever we saw him.
Glad we booked.

Hotel was very clean and exceptionally comfortable and the staff were very helpful and made you feel welcome. You had a lovely pool with loungers and towels and also the use of the pool at the sister hotel the Grand Royal which overlooked the sea. The restaurant served great food, three course dinners and fab breakfasts, would certainly go back.

Great location near train station and center of town so you can walk. Everything was spotless and the staff was friendly and spoke English very well. The outdoor view overlooks Naples Bay and was outstanding. Lots of outdoor seating space to enjoy. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Arrived to a beautiful hotel, however our room was terrible! Worst we have had! Saw the hotel receptionist to complain, Tony he was wonderful said all the rooms were occupied & had to stay for two nights in that room then could change to another room it was such an improvement with a great seaview, So much spacious & comfortable.
We had a very pleasant stay. This is a charming little house in the centre of a lemon orchard. The location is great, walking distance to central piazza and ferry dock. Room was huge by European standards and so was the en-suite bathroom. Free parking on site, delicious european breakfast. Very reasonably priced compared to adjacent hotels.
The only negative comments I have was the check-in timelines create some scheduling challenges, but easily surmountable and for those with temperamental backs might find mattress too springy, but this was common for europe. Otherwise a great experience!!!

Right next to train station. Room balcony opens to street life, awesome! Hotel staff kindly made us restaurants reservations pre-arrival. Best location. Bus to amalfi is around the corner. Short walk to sorrento port for excursions. Short walk to shopping and foods. Room had working controllable AC and safe. Shower very small and breakfast a bit sparse but overall very very good. Run and owned by local family and folks instead of cookie-cutter impersonal chain a big plus. We'll happily visit again and again!!!
The hotel was lovely and located on a quiet street away from the crowded and noisy center of town. Our room was nice, but the best part of staying in this hotel is the grounds with its gardens and places to sit and enjoy the views of the harbor and sea. The breakfast buffet was outstanding.

Just returned from a fabulous week in Sorrento staying at the beautiful Grand Hotel Riviera. We wanted an hotel with a view and were not disappointed. Our room was a standard, it was beautifully decorated and very comfortable, The staff were very helpful and friendly and the service in the bar and restaurant were excellent. The breakfast buffet was substantial with lots of choice and made all the more special by the view from the breakfast terrace. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the main square of Sorrento. We loved it and would definitely return.
