Good value, lovely staff, great swimming pool. Negative point is the kitchen area.. Two small hobs so proper cooking not possible. Also there were no cleaning products at all so we had to buy sponges, washing up liquid etc. would also have been nice to have basic condiments like salt and pepper. Would recommend bearing in mind the above.

Good location only a short walk into the centre of La Rochelle where, on Bastille day there was a music festival and a street market together with many other attractions. At the moment there is a lot of construction taking place around the hotel and thus the road leading to it is in a bad state of repair. The apartment we had enjoyed the benefit of a kitchen which had all the amenities you would expect and was cleaned on a daily basis. Excellent parking both on ground and underground levels. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Hotel in the centre of the ancient port of La Rochelle, cafe's and restaurants on the cobbled street right on the doorstep.Very comfortable clean rooms and friendly staff with a good breakfast.Had a great stay.

Fantastic hotel, very friendly staff, excellent location, really felt that bit special. Very central to the harbour/beach etc. We had booked into Christian Coutanceu's which is a 5 min walk away. It look very mysterious from the outside (and pretentious) but once inside it is decadent with exceptionally friendly staff.

Went to La Rochelle for a 4 day break. This hotel was ideally located and , in our opinion, under-rated.
It was particularly clean, welcoming and quiet. It suffers from not having a formal lounge as traditional hotels may have but, quite frankly, we didn't go there to sit in a hotel.
There is next to no noise from the restaurants and bars down below and when the windows were closed at night ( the room has air-con) there was absolutely no noise.
Book a harbour view room and you will not be disappointed.
Its a hidden jewel..but don't tell everyone!!!
