“Hotel fit for a king and queen”

The most luxurious hotel I have stayed in after a long while. Everything you would expect from a hotel where the king of Oman has his own floor. Need I say more? The lobby is astounding. Only thing that could be improved was speed of room service but the hotel was apparently full. All types of water sports inclusive for guests and helpful staff. Beautiful infinity pool. Enjoy!

“Excellent !!”

We had a extremely fantastic experiences at this hotel ! All the staffs were kind and friendly. The pool and beech were clean and good. Room service food quality was perfect !

“Stunning facility and location”

We have stayed here 4 times and the Lagoon room is our pick. You will fell like a king or queen with how this palace is designed and decorated. Guests are of a more mature and refined who know a good place and are not loud and understand the meaning of courtesy. With no over crowded pools and grassed areas you will have privacy. Even when the hotel is at maximum capacity it never fells crowded as with most Dubai beach resorts that we have experience over the last 4 years living in the region. This is our best hotel by far and both families, couples, retiree's will love this place.

“My all time favourite hotel”

Our sixth time at this hotel and still the standard is outstanding.Staff are so friendly and The Ritz Carlton are carrying on where The Intercontinental left off.Still remains my very favourite hotel

“Expected better”

Fantastic grounds and facilities. The room was spacious however it was damp. We only stayed two nights and one day the room didn't get cleaned despite asking, when we were told it already had been (which it hadn't). The cleaner eventually agreed the room hadn't been cleaned but said we'd had the 'do not disturb sign on the door,which we hadn't. The second day they woke us at 8.15 am wanting to clean the room, as if to make a point. I had expected more given the hype around this hotel. make a point. The room fridge was barely cold. I had expected more given the hype around this hotel.

Area recommendations
Muttrah souk and corniche is worth a visit and they also run dhow trips from there
