Nice bathroom. Large bedroom and bed. Great views, pleasant staff. (Minor)gripes: Took ages to checkin even though we were the only guests at reception. The hot buffet is luke warm at best.

Aguilas hotel in Murcia
Our second year at this hotel. Probably the cleanest hotel in the world! Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Equally spacious public areas both inside and outside with lots of room. All the food is of a very good standard and prices are very reasonable. Aguilas is a 10 minute drive away and there is plenty of flat walking. The area itself is typical southern semi desert but there are plenty of interesting places to drive to on a daily basis. A car is really essential. Finally, the staff, all the staff, are really first class.

Lovely hotel in great location
We’ve stayed here a few times now and really like the location of the hotel. This time check-in was very slow with the receptionist leaving us to deal with someone else or talking on the phone - very irritating. The hotel is very clean….in fact, our room smelled strongly of disinfectant which wasn’t pleasant. The staff are always polite and helpful. Food in the restaurant is plentiful and good quality. We would stay again….these were unusual annoyances compared you the usual standard

Lovely Aguilas resort and hotel
At one end of Aguilas Playa, we were delighted with every aspect of this hotel during a 4 day October break. Immaculately clean, lovely staff, large rooms and suites. Lovely terraces overlooking and very near to the beach. Beach/beachfront walks to Aguilas itself. Aguilas was a pleasant resort with a lovely town square. The breakfast at the hotel was first class as were the other meals we had. On street parking was available but not sure what it would be like in high season. The hotel has its own underground parking if required. There is a modest sized outdoor and indoor pool and a spa on the top floor if that’s your thing. Lots to drive out to see within an hour or so. Generally highly recommended.

WE) only had Dinner,Bed and Breakfast for i night,the room was quite comfortable and the food was good, although a bit crowded at times in the restaurant with no real directions for avoiding the queues, which would have helped at the present time.(covid) The position of the hotel was on the seafront but a fair way away from anything else.

Lovely hotel in great location
We stayed for one night here in Aguilas. Lovely view of the marina from our room. Everything very clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Buffet-style dining, plentiful choice of food for dinner and breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

Well worth a stay
Pleasant relaxing hotel and the staff very attentive and thoughtful . Lovely spar although I did not use it for personal reasons . Food was good and very spanish . Plenty of choice and lots of fruit .

Smart hotel in great location
Friendly reception staff, very helpful. Good sized room and bathroom with good quality clean bedding and towels. Great sea view and fantastic sunrise.

Lovely location - average hotel. Not 4 Star.
It’s simply not a 4 Star hotel. The room was nice and the WiFi food but the general feel of the place is a little Tired. The gym was awful - extremely old and broken equipment and lots of old unsafe weights. It’s all needs clearing out - compared to the next hotel I stayed at (also 4 Star) they were worlds apart. The pool opens and shuts at strange times too. The location is excellent however and the beach clean and nearby. Breakfast was nice enough but the egg and omelette station was unmanned. Parking was easy enough in the side streets. The spa costs £25 so I didn’t bother - the hotel I went to after had a fantastic spa priced at €9. I think this place has a lot to do in comparison to its competition.

Average-Clean Hotel located in a beautiful beach
There are lots of activities one can do in the city and in nearby cities this is a location in a desert type environment but the hotel makes it feel like you were somewhere else

Very nice place but could be better considering 4*
Very nice hotel but it could have been better considering it was a 4 star hotel?! The previous 3 star hotel was far better finished and furnished and the breakfast slightly better. The pool was nice but was being cleaned, the beach needed the seaweed raked up. We didn't have dinner but the main town wasn't very nice along the front, but in the town it was slightly better and for food.

Our stay was very good , there was a wedding in the hotel in the afternoon so it was quite noisy but everyone was having fun !! Staff very friendly and helpful , food very good , I was surprised that there was no wi fi in the rooms , I tried to use skype in the wi fi area but it was very noisy and could not hear my family , maybe they could look at this for the future !!

We really enjoyed our stay. A couple of disappointments - the swimming pool closed between 2 and 4 in the afternoon which seemed the prime time. The other point was that we would have thought that a hotel like this should have wifi available in the bedrooms. It was only available in the lobby area which at times was really inconvenient. These were only two small points otherwise we were very pleased with our choice of hotel.

Check-in staff spoke good English. Excellent buffet breakfast - so many pastries! On day two, nice gentleman on reception offered to look after our luggage whilst we swam. Unfortunately the indoor swimming pool didn't open until after check out time. Beds bit firm but room clean.

We checked into this hotel excited about the four star ammenities after staying in a two star hotel elsewhere; we were extremely disappointed. We had been traveling all day, and checked in around four, lunch was finished and dinner had not yet opened; however, the bar that is supposed to serve food continuously was also not serving! We finally convinced the bartender to scrape together some ham, cheese and bread (it caused a stir with the other guests). Later, we came to find out that the dining room that is supposed to start service at eight WILL NOT be open tonight AND the restaurant recommendation in town that the front desk gave us was closed! The following morning, the breakfast and lunch buffets weren't open. Perhaps we should consider ourselves lucky, because the breakfast buffet, when finally available, was uninspired, and the dinner buffet was a study in flavorless food. The terrible food situation aside, this hotel simply does not give four star service. We stayed during off season, but four stars are kept all year round. We simple can't recommend this hotel.

Hotel was excellent apart from the fact that both pools were closed for maintenance until March according to the staff.Apparently they had notified all booking agents, but Expedia failed to tell me when booking.I booked a spa hotel as I suffer from osteoarthritis and swimming alleviates some of the discomforts as does a spa.The spa facilities were excellent as were the staff.my only concern is that although it is an international hotel most of the information is in Spanish which is not very helpful and most of the staff do not speak much English. I have notified Expedia of my complaint about the pools being closed and I am still waiting for some sort of recon pence ideally a refund as I was not informed at the time of booking even though I spoke to an agent on the phone to make my booking.When I notified Expedia they tried to put the blame on the hotel and pass the buck ,but it was Expedia that I booked with and not the hotel .Expedia is to blame and should carry the can for the imposition that I had.I would recommend hiring a car as the bus only run on the hour and it is rather a long walk to get to town and a lot of businesses were not open because it was low season in Spain

Quality modern hotel on the outskirts of town
Visited Nov13. Big modern hotel, excellent patio areas overlooking beach and marina. Restaurant has a very good choice of food and its worth taking the food options as there is little choice in alternative restaurants out of season without going into town (a car trip for most people). Rooms do not have balcony and are in a modern minimalist style. did not try the spa or other activities that were available.

Very good value. Beach location. Excellent accommodation. We had a suite which had a large lounge, and fridge freezer. High standard of cleanliness, and staff were friendly. Some restaurants nearby, and a 25 minute walk to the central plaza along a nice promenade. Would return.

A disappointment
We stayed at this hotel two years ago on a tour of Spain and it was very good which is why we returned this year.Unfortunately the standards in the Hotel have dropped ,here's a list of problems - air conditioning not working (fault reported but no response),mould all around bath/tile sealing,very unsightly,unbelievably bad service in the bars and resturant (15 minute wait to get a beer!),resturant had @ 20 local police IN UNIFORM taking dinner each evening,it was like a canteen not a 4 star resturant!!,the local school having swimming lessons in the pool (@ 20 noisy children!!).I asked for an upper level room and was given a !st floor room,I queried this and was told the hotel was full so nothing could be done,this was not true as there were very few people around (unless they stayed in their room all the time!).This hotel is charging too much,I would not stay there again and would not recommend it unless you are very patient and tolerant!!

Nice and comfortable hotel but very busy at the weekend
The hotel room was very comfortable but was a bit noisy due to a pipe being laid beside the hotel. The hotel is in a very good situation as it is at the front in Aguilas. The food was good and reasonably priced but the dining room is very busy at weekends. If you want to eat in the restaurant at weekends I suggest that you go to the restaurant.early. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I will be returning in the near future.
