You can hear your neighbors TV all night. Our other neighbor was fighting and yelling all night. We couldn’t sleep. The walls are very thin. Parking is a nightmare at this place. They advertise that they have parking but there is not instructions of where to park, we called and they had to check to see if they had room for us to park, and then it is it is a hidden garage underneath their building that they have to buzz you in, which was a nightmare getting our mini SUV into. The streets around this area are very narrow to drive. No screens on the sliding door in your room, every fly and bee has access to your room. Did not like this place.

Enjoyable
Really enjoyed our stay..great service, helpful staff, excellent cleaning of our rooms, couldnt fault breakfast...only a tiny negative observation was little effort went in for you to enjoy a drink in the evening...had to go to reception to get someone to get a drink..but would stay again..

Location great ......hotel disappointing.
The location of the hotel was the only redeeming factor of this hotel. We stayed 3 nights including breakfast, but the restaurant was closed as was the bar throughout our stay. The receptionists ( three or four different ones) seemed disinterested with a couldn’t care less attitude. I appreciate there had been problems with flooding prior to our stay some weeks before but the staff should have tried harder because of this. I was told the hotel parking was unavailable and had to park in the street. The main reason for booking this hotel was a secure parking place. The rooms have very thin walls and conversations could be heard from both sides. There was no English speaking programme on the tv. which was a little disappointing. We do like updates on the news in general. Would not recommend this hotel.

Dear Henry We´d like to offer you our parking but, as you know, we had big flooding problems and we can't do anything if our parking space is useless We do have english channels, you only had to ask at front desk, to those desinterested recepcionists, and they could tell you what the number of channels were. Great location
The location was incredible. We got an ocean-facing room and had a great view. The person at the desk was extremely polite. The bed was comfortable. The bad part was that the air conditioning was basically useless. It was EXTREMELY hot at night, even with the AC on the coldest setting. This made it very difficult to fall asleep. Be careful if you’re staying here during the hotter season like I did.

Nice seaside hotel right by the Mar Menor. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Friendly helpful staff. We had a sea view room with balcony which was lovely.

The sea view from the room was amazing. Our only complaint is the noise you can hear from the rooms next doors or above. The walls are very thin. If you are a light sleeper, it may be difficult to get a good night sleep

Right on the sea front, a small hotel of character
Very nice friendly staff - no problem us arriving very late from the airport. At this time of year, could park not far from the door. Nice dining room and outside terrace for excellent coffee or extremely generous and well priced buffet breakfast. Bedroom was clean and bed was comfortable, the sea facing rooms have balconies, but early morning noise from dustbin emptying might worry some, room at the back was compact but quiet. Refrigerator but no hospitality tray, this is Spain! There is a lift but it is very small.

Cosy hotel on the beach
Lovely, helpful staff who all spoke English. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and it was worth paying a little bit more to have a balcony overlooking the beach.

We were given a free upgrade to a sea view which was very nice. We did not find any problems apart from a big gap in between the bottom of shower screen and top of bath. Therefore bathroom was wet and slippy. Air con was ineffectual.

Good Hotel. Fantastic Location.
An excellent no frills, no fuss Hotel. Fantastic location with lovely views from the room. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The lack of off peak restaurant facilities does not detract from the overall experience as there are plenty of nice eating places close within the local area. I will definitely stay at this Hotel again.

Old fashioned hotel in dire need of a makeover. Air conditioning was totally inadequate. Small room with very little room for belongings in old wooden painted drawers and wardrobe. Seal missing between shower screen and top of bath so bathroom flooded every time the shower was used. Breakfast was barely adequate and barely warm. Very disappointed. The only redeeming factor was the excellent location on sea front.

A great location on the beach but somewhat lacking in restaurant options. The beach was popular and there is a front terrace at the hotel to people watch. Breakfast was fine. Staff helpful. Limited English.

Nice hotel overlooking the beach.
Yes the rooms could benefit from an update and on the top floor the balcony roofs could do with attention but the beds are comfortable,the wi-fi is excellent,cleaning of the rooms is very good and the views are lovely.

This is a cave so expect it to be different. Yard area was very “rustic ”, dirt road, etc. Weren't sure where we'd landed. But our cave was brilliant, every possible comfort including a dishwasher and excellent WiFi which is important to us when traveling. It was a rare and very neat treat in an excellent place.

Good position overlooking the mar menor
We stayed for ten nights bed and breakfast, the hotel on the whole in not bad. The breakfast was good, not a massive choice but enjoyable, eggs, bacon, fruit, juices. cereals, cold meat and cheese, bread and croissants all available. There is a small bar and lounge we didn't use the bar so cant comment. The room was small with twin single beds, the bathroom was the pits, around the bath was mouldy, the floor was covered in water after you had taken a shower as there was no seal between the bath and the shower screen. the tiles were cracked, the toilet bowl was cracked, the toilet was loose, the bathroom door was rotten, the hair dryer hose was held together with celotape, the laminate floor was lifting. We had a sea view room and this is the best thing about our stay, great to get up in the morning to look out over the mar menor. The balcony was small and didn't get the sun. We looked at a small hotel down the road (The Alaska) the rooms were modern and spotless, it was also cheaper but didn't have the views so we didn't bother moving

A real gem
We stayed here towards the end of April and were very happy with our stay. The staff was really great and the food and wait staff were Fantastic! Best meal so far....by a long shot. Very cool little town with great beaches and quiet family atmosphere. Worth checking out

The bathroom in the room has a laminate floor which has seen better days and the shower screen did not reach the side of the bath so wet floors the obvious reason the laminate was suffering... and that is the only reason this review is not 5 out 5.... The location of the hotel was fantastic and the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly... Would definitely recommend to families and couples alike... Location was superb... Will definitely be booking again and taking our grandchild ....

Not a lot, the air con was not working and temperatures reached 36/37 degrees the two days we were there which made it impossible to sleep. Mini Bar empty, no complimentary papers as described in your advertising. I have already wrote to complain and awaiting a reply

Lovely View Over The Beach
The Hotel Neptuno in San Pedro del Pinatar is about 20 km to the NE from Cartagena as the crow flies but it is 36 km around the bay to the city and the drive takes about 30 minutes. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay in this quiet town, especially as our room had a nice large balcony overlooking some palm trees, the pedestrian walkway and the beach. The balcony was large enough for two chairs and a table where we could eat an evening sandwich with beer while watching the sunset over Cartagena in the distance. Our room was a bit small but clean and comfortably furnished. The little fridge was perfect for keeping beer and snacks cool. We were able to park free on the street in view of our balcony. The staff were very polite and helpful and spoke some English. The air conditioning didn’t work but the balcony door provided lots of fresh cool air at night (in October). Breakfast was plentiful and had a good variety of foods.
