“Great hotel”

After a long trip and landing in Munich, arriving at this hotel was just the thing we needed to relax and start our trip. The room was great, clean and comfortable. Located very close to the Hauptbahnhof made it very convenient for seeing the sights and getting to where we needed to go.

“Munich at an excellet location”

The room isnsurprisingly clean, big and quite confortable! The location is superb, however the neighborhood is not very good. I recommend it.

“Rooms are better than front of hotel would indicate”

This hotel is well located in relation to the main railway station and the rooms are a pleasant surprise. Often the reception area is better than the rooms but in this case that was the opposite. After checking in I wasn't expecting much but when I opened the door to my room I was surprised at how good it was. The room was large and had everything to make for a comfortable stay. However, the bathroom was tiny. Not a problem for me but a larger person may be a little cramped. My only complaint was the wi fi which did not work in my room and I was disappointed that it was not resolved when I pointed it out. The solution was that I should sit in the lounge off the reception. I did so (with good reception) but that was not what I paid for. If wi fi is provided in the rooms then that is what should be available. The room had a kitchen area and so if a longer stay is planned then the budget could benefit by being able to prepare your own food.

“Convenient and good for the price”

Good clean hotel right near the Hauptbanhoff. About a 15 minute walk from the city center. WIFI works well in the lobby, but not in the room. A second pillow would have been nice.

“Munich”

Close to train station and good restaurant. Need directions from the train station, was hard to find, at first. The hotel had very friendly and helpful staff. There was a kitchen with a few pots, pans and dishes. The balcony was very tiny, about 1 1/2 foot out over the road. The room had no AC, just a very small desk fan so we had to leave the window or door open at night with street noise.

“Disappointed”

Good location close to station and centre. Nice and clean with comfortable bed and kitchen facilities. However, our first disappointment was that the only lift never came and we had to walk up 6 flights of stairs. Our second disappointment was that there was no tea, coffee or biscuits which we desparately needed after a long journey. Finally there was no air conditioning requiring the windows to be open. This was a problem as there was significant traffic noise throughout the night. In conclusion would only recommend this hotel if location was of paramount importance.

“Highly Recommended”

An excellent hotel (very clean, very comfortable, well located) and at a very good price. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Tip - Ask for a room at the rear to be able to open the window and not get street noise.

“Munich Hotel near main train station”

A great simple hotel. Clean, located 3-4 blocks from main train station. Very nice staff. Only complaint is a fan would be nice since there is no air conditioning. Love the location a close 10-20 minute walk to most attractions.
