“Munich Trip”
Great Hotel if you are looking for somewhere close to the city centre and Hofbrau House. excellent breakfast included.
“Excellent hotel”
We stayed at the Hotel Exquisit on our first visit to Munich and were not disapointed. The hotel is situated in a quiet street about fifteen minutes walk from the main railway station ( the drop off point for the Lufthansa coach) and very near the Sendinger Tor tram/metro stop. We were made very welcome on arrival and shown to a comfortable and clean room. There was no noise from outside or inside the hotel during our stay. There was good selection of hot and cold food at breakfast which was available for quite a long time. The hotel is well situated and within a few minutes walk of Munich city centre and we would have no hesitation in recomending this hotel
“Fantastic”
It is very nice and pleasant hotel which is very near from Marien plaza. You can easily get to Marien plaza by subway (just 1 stop) and even you can get there on your own foot within 10 mins. The breakfast is fabulous and all staffs are very kind. Only onw thing I was disappointed is that they do not supply free wireless internet. There are a few supermarket very near from hotel and the goods are reasonable price. Just 75 euro-cents for one bottle of famous beer. The room is clean and big enough. There are two wash-bins and a bath-tub in the bathroom. I will definitely be there if I need to go to Munich again.
“lovely hotel”
Location , service, staff, all really good , stayed here before and don't want to stay anywhere else when I go to munich.
“Excellent choice for Munich break”
We stayed at the Hotel Exquisit for 3 nights over Easter and would thoroughly recommend it. The hotel is in a great location. It is only a short walk into the old town and it is also only 100 metres from the Sendlinger Tor U Bahn and tram station, should you want to use public transport. The hotel is small and privately run. Our room was large with windows on 2 sides. Although it was at the front of the hotel there is no through traffic, so it was very quiet. Everything was spotlessly clean and bed was very comfy. Breakfast is a real treat. Fantastic buffet, with plenty for everyone. I am a celiac and was thrilled to find gluten free bread and soya milk on the breakfast buffet. Hot food available to order too.
“Christmas Market”
A great place to stay. Reception staff very friendly with excellent insider knowledge - their tip sent us to the best Christmas market venue. Lift a bit slow - but that just encouraged us to be healthy & take the stairs! Late risers buffet breakfast excellent. Walking distance to the Christmas Markets and Tollwood (the Oktoberfest venue)and right on top of the metro for connections to the airport. Would definitely stay there again.
“Can't be faulted!”
We stayed for two nights and were very impressed with the staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfast was plentiful. On a sunday the breakfast is available until 14:00 - perfect for a lazy start! The location is within easy walking distance of the town centre but as well as this the nearest underground is only a few metres away. The only negative point was that it was a little noisy at night from the restaurant opposite but this was because we had to have the window open. All in all perfect for a weekend break.
“Exquisite experience”
A warm welcome awaits visitors to this homely, attractively furnished hotel in an excellent location for easy tram and metro connections to the city and suburbs. The beds are extremely comfortable with a sparkling bathroom. The food is outstanding - freshly prepared and plenty of it. As always in a city, one must be prepared for some traffic noise.
“Very Impressed - Will Go Back”
Hotel Exquisit lives up to its name! My husband and I were very impressed from the moment we arrived at the reception. The decor was really nice and the receptionist was friendly and could speak excellent English. We were given a room at the end of a corridor which faced on to the main street. The room we got was absolutely lovely - a good sized room with a little corridor which had a window which looked on to the side street. The bathroom led off from the corridor and what a bathroom! It was the most equipped bathroom we've had in any accommodation and we have travelled a lot. It was very well appointed with a bath and shower and a sink each. The water was always hot at any time of the day or night and there were lots of towels. The wardrobe had a lot of hangers in it which was surprising as I usually find there is a shortage in hotels. The room faced on to a mainly quiet street - the only thing I will say is that it became a bit noisy later on at night from a restaurant across the road. We were there in September 2008 and the couple of days we were there it was very hot so people were sitting out at tables and the buzz of conversation was quite loud at night. It didn't go on too late, though, but some people might find it annoying. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice between fruit, cereals, breads and hot food and the hours of serving were good too. All in all we would highly recommend this hotel for a short break.
“Thoroughly enjoyable.”
The whole experience was positive. From booking with Expedia, the flights, the transfer, the hotel. An excellent holiday. I only wish that it had been a further eight days,
