“ideal airport hotel”

This hotel is a ten minute drive from the airport terminal, very convenient for the airport, yet the surroundings are fields and the outskirts of a small town. The shuttle bus is a cheap and good option for travelling to and from the hotel to the airport, but beware that this does not run during the middle of the day. I thoroughly recommend the Italian restaurant which is 5 minutes walk down the road called Il Casale. I expected it to be deserted on a Monday night, but it was busy with customers and the Italian owners provide great food and service with a smile.

“Best place to stay if you have to over-night at Munich Airport”

Very well managed and maintained hotel. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. Shuttle service is on time and runs from 4:00am to Midnight. Rooms are a bit larger than normal for a European hotel, top notch furniture, bathrooms, lighting, very nice.

Did not pick up at airport as requested and said they would have shuttle every 30 minutes for airport shuttle service.Waited 45 minutes then got a taxi.Front desk said they could not get in touch with driver. Not really an airport hotel. 15 euros for taxi service... Asked for 2 beds got small single bed. Head board made a popping noise all night. Very small room.

“Tasty Breakfast, Horrible Location”

Holiday Inn Express-Munich Airport was not the bargain I thought it would be. The location is horrible for leisure travellers (the middle of a cornfield, 40 minutes by car and train from Munich center). If we hadn't rented a car, we would have been stuck. There are no restaurants or grocery stores nearby, besides in the airport, which is only accessible by an 8 euro shuttle. Another gripe- wireless Internet is not free, nor is parking. However, the staff was very kind and helpful, and the free breakfast was amazing (oven fresh croissants, espresso).

“Excellent short stay hotel, but not convenient for Munich visit”

This hotel is new, clean and comfortable. Although the rooms are fairly small, they are well appointed with a comfortable bed. Great aeroplane viewing from the room! The shuttle did not arrive at the stop on the half hour as noted so, after a wait of about 25 minutes, we took a taxi to the hotel. Fortunately, there was another couple waiting so we shared the taxi which charged us extra for taking luggage. Also, the cost of the shuttle added to the cost of going into Munich. If you are planning to visit Munich, I would recommend staying at an hotel in the city. The train to and from the airport is excellent, taking about half an hour.

“Good option for an airport hotel”

Stayed here one night before catching our flight home early next morning. Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced, this hotel was just what we needed for a quick last evening stay. Rooms were a decent size, bathroom was clean and the beds were just right. Would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

“Great Hotel Near Munich Airport”

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood not too far from the airport. It's a great place to spend a peaceful night the day before or after a hectic day of flying. The people at the hotel are very nice and accommodating. There is no restaurant at the hotel but the bar serves pre-packaged foods and pizza. There is a good breakfast buffet in the morning beginning at 4 AM. Our only complaint was that the hotel shuttle, which goes between the airport and hotel every 30 minutes, was late picking us up and we had to call the hotel. We ended up waiting an hour. All in all it's a good hotel and we would stay there again.
