“Perfect”

We loved this hotel.It is about a 10-15 min drive to Munich airport with very nice clean rooms, excellent breakfast and free parking.

Area recommendations

You must be joking.This is a very small town,perfect for your stay for the night before your morning flight and not much to see.Mind you,not very far from the hotel there is a bakery with a friendly sales girl but other than that not mucs excitment.

“Exceptional service and value”

We recently stayed at a series of German/Austrian hotels within the same price range, and thiswas by far the classiest. With a combination of rustic and "neo-Wittelsbach" decor, rooms have details reminiscent of Munich palaces, and the restaurant has a ceiling with painted beams, all in a color palette of rose, cream, and light green. The location is very convenient (easy on/off to the A9 highway for access to Munich); the only drawback is loud traffic nearby, but fortunately rooms are well sound-proofed. The service in the restaurant was exceptional, both at the luxurious buffet breakfast (including chocolate croissants and salmon) and at dinner, where our waiter, Herr Gaissler, timed every course perfectly and even offered a replacement item when I didn't like what I had ordered. Reception desk was also unfailingly responsive and courteous. Highly recommended!

“convenient to airport and transit”

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Full breakfast was included, with large selection of hot and cold food. Restaurant was quaint, service was good, and entrees were quite affordable for the budget-minded traveler. Free parking and internet service were also included. Only complaint is that the wifi signal isn't strong enough to work from your room. Grocery store and rail service are just a 5-minute walk away, and trains come every 20 minutes to get to downtown Munich. Overall, very comfortable, convenient, and a good value.

Area recommendations

This hotel is a short drive from the airport, but only 30 minutes by rail service to downtown Munich. It makes good sense to stay here and avoid the traffic and the cost of parking.

Getting around

The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the transit station, and then just a 30-minute ride directly to Marienplatz without changing trains. The transit system in Munich is very efficient, and you can easily get around the city by bus, trolley or train.

“Lived up to review”

Our flight arrived early. Staff had no problem checking us in and giving us a great cup of coffee while our room was being cleaned.

“Twice we had unsmiling unwelcoming and unhelpful reception at the desk”

Food was excellent and dinng service very good.did not realise cost was for room only. In my mind too far from airport to be considered "near"

“Nice stay”

We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. The room was nice and large but a pain the get to with big luggage since it was the building behind the main hotel. Also, if getting off at the subway station have walking directions with you! Walk from station is about 3/4 mile.

“Good Bang for the Euro”

This hotel is well worth its cost. The small town setting is relaxing and convenient. The help is excellent, as is the restaurant. I would stay there again if I ever return to Munich.
