“Not impressed”
The booking fee does not include network which require you to pay another 13 (Economy class) or 18(business) Euros per day. The network is also rather bad as you will exceed you quota very easily even you just check the email and read news. Also, the breakfast buffet is also bad: it costs you 12 Euros but only provide very few choices.
“Great neighborhood, basic room”
For the great price we were able to book thanks to Expedia, this hotel was a perfect fit for our trip to Munich. We spent three nights exploring th city. We did not spend much time in the hotel but when we were there, it was quiet and restful. My husband thought the floors could haved been cleaner, but it was ok for what we paid..
“Nice Hotel”
The hotel was nice, except for the fact that it did not have air conditioning. With out air conditioning we hade to open the windows which let in a lot of noise and it was hard to sleep and we were woken up early.

Had a small problem to check in but next day I spoke to manager who was great.

The hotel was well maintained, the staff friendly and helpful and the accomadations very nice. The location made it easy to get to the activities we had planned and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Our stay at the Golden Leaf Lehel was very enjoyable and within walking distance of the subway. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Better reading lamps would have been nice...We would definitely stay here again.
“great hotel for a great price”
If you can't afford old-town Munich, this is a great substitute. The Lehel neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Golden Leaf is a comforable, business type hotel. Reception speaks English well. Beds are comfortable. The pillows are truly awful. That's the only downside. 3-blocks away is a friendly, local restaurant Liebighof which has great food and nice service. To get to Golden Leaf from Munchen Ost...Take the U5 towards Laimer Platz. Get off at Lehel (2 stops). Exit the train and follow arrows towards St.Anna's church. Take the 1st set of escalators and then the 2nd set on the right. Walk past St.Anna's. Cross over Liebighof and turn right at Unsoeldstrasse(sic). The hotel is right there. Arrival from Hauptbahnhof...Take the U4(Arabella Park) or the U5(Neuperlach Sud) to Lehel (3 stops). Get off the train and make a left following the St.Anna's signs, etc.
“Hidden quality hotel”
This hotel is pretty bare bones, but you can't beat the proximity to a neighborhood rather than downtown, as well as the English Garden.
“Munich: Central location, affordable price”
Hotel location is ideal for exploring city centre attractions that are within walking distance. Hotel is clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and very accommodating. Brilliant for 3-star hotel. We did not purchase breakfast, so can't comment. There are patesserie, bars & cafes, restaurant within 5 min walking distance.
