“Clean and comfortable if a little sleepy”
This hotel was clean and comfortable with friendly staff. The district itself is very residential yet the hotel is five minutes walk from the U-bahn directly into the city. The journey takes about 15 mins. This is a cheaper alternative to city centre accomodation which is comfortable and cosy.
“Quiet and comfortable”
This hotel is in a business district, so there is not much to see in the immediate area, but it is only 5 mins walk from the Schnellbahn which takes you to the centre in about 20 mins. The staff are very helpful and produced a reading light for me without quibble. On German Mothers' Day they gave each Mum a beautiful long-stemmed rose. The adjoining restaurant serves a good selection of breakfast foods including scrambled egg and bacon and delicious rolls and croissants. In the evening they offer specialities of the region at a reasonable price. Don't miss their Kaiserschmarren with Apfelmus, a thick spongy pancake dredged with icing sugar, cooked to order.
“Nice for a great price”
I stayed with some colleagues in this hotel after a conference near Munich. Its a bit "out of town" but there are really convenient S-Bahn and Underground services close by. Its a residential area and hence really quiet and save also during the night. The reception staff was very nice and extremely helpful. The hotel also offered this "Breakfast-to-go" (really good price-for-value) which we found very handy for the day we went to see Neuschwanstein Castle, as we had to leave early on a Sunday morning for this. Altogether, for our needs this hotel was perfect!
“Nice hotel, quiet neighborhood, good public transport connections”
I am not very demanding single traveler, so for me this hotel was more then adequate for the 5-night leisure stay. Reception: very helpful, speak English. Room: good size, furniture looks a bit worn, but nothing is falling apart and everything is in working order, liquid soap and shower gel in the bathroom, daily cleaning. Breakfast: buffet-type, choice of German bread rolls, sausages, cheeses, cereals, hot and cold drinks; my only gripe was the lack of vegetables and poor choice of fruits (or may be I was a bit late for them). Surroundings: quiet residential neighborhood, 5 min. walk to U/S-Bahn station (ca.20-30 min. journey to the city center and main attractions), nearby food supermarket, bakeries/cafes, restaurants, bank branches with ATMs, most of them are on the way from the U/S-Bahn station to the hotel. About 20 min walk from the hotel is the PEP shopping center with more places to eat or buy some snacks.
“GREAT HOTEL FOR TRAVELER ON A BUDGET”
hotel was 400 steps from train station.easy access to public transport.typical european hotel.not big but sufficent and clean.had a room above restaraunt that was a lil noisy from patrons outside smoking til early morn.hotel restaruant good and reasonable.staff friendly and helpful.let me check in at my early arrival.lil coffee shop and stores close by.would recommend and stay there again.had to catch an EARLY train and felt safe walking to station in the early morning alone. GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY
“Very clean and comfortable hotel”
The hotel and rooms wervery clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent.
“Value for money Budget Hotel”
Stayed 4 nights in a twin which despite being on the small size was perfectly adequate, the room was clean and the bed comforable, requests for more towels/pillows were responded to quickly and with a smile. The on site restaurant "Ludwigs" was good, portions huge but very tasty food. U Bahn 5-10 minutes walk and then 15 minutes into the centre, value for money travel cards were great. I found the hotel quiet and didn't hear any church bells as mentioned, we were on the front but it is not a busy road. Nearby are Bakers, Aldi Supermarket, Dr's Dentist's, Florist everything you need within 2 minutes walk. Staff were friendly and helpful and overall I would return to thsi Hotel any time and recommend it as an excellent Budget Hotel. It is locate din a business district, Siemens take up most of the area with flashy office blocks, there is a Chinese and an Italian Restaurant close by. There is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room only in reception, we took a travel kettle and used the fridge in the room for milk/food etc., we took out all of the hotels overpriced drinks and snacks for the duration and then put them back after! The nearest U Bahn is Neu Perlach Sud, you then walk up a pedestrianised area, cross the road walk along 200 metres and you are there, watch out there are a lot of different exits from the U Bahn so it is easy to lose your bearings. Enjoy your stay.
“Least expensive place we stayed on three week trip”
I liked this place mainly because it was the least expensive place we stayed on our three week trip. There was an in-room "bar" consisting of a mini-frig. I removed the hotel's items and stored food of my own in the frig. The train and bus station is about 5 or 6 blocks, an easy walk. Room was small, but not bad at all. FREE parking on the street.
“Good for the Location and the price”
hotel was really clean the room was a little cramped up... there is a Cheurch right next to the hotel so Espect the "BELLS" (yes plural) to go off at 6 sharp!
