Stayed for three nights in a single room overlooking the rear courtyard. The room had a good shower but the cubicle was a bit tight and always soaked the floor. The windows had external privacy blinds which restricts views out but if you're not planning to spend much time in the room is not a great problem.
Very helpful and pleasant staff. A much better location than up by the station where many of Munich's hotels are concentrated.

The hotel was convenient to most tourist sites, but lacked the warmth and charm of other boutique hotels we've stayed in. The staff was professional but not warm or friendly. The rates were very high due to Oktoberfest, but didn't include breakfast or Wi-Fi in the rooms which all the other small hotels we stayed in while traveling in Germany did.

We had a great time at the Hotel Louis for our 3 nights in Munich. The location could not be better and we loved the room. The staff was very helpful with anything we needed. Our next trip to Munich will definitely include a stay at the Hotel Louis. Thanks for a memorable stay!

We took the train from the airport straight to the hotel which took less than one hour and very reasonable price. We were welcomed by kind, helpful and friendly receptionists who helped to chick in promptly.
A very friendly porter took to our room and carried our suite cases.
We were pleased with our room; it was spacious, bright and overlooking the city centre, especially the cathedral and the mean square, were Xmas market was set.
The room was very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of powerful lights and spacious bathroom.
Our only problem was with the coffee maker; we couldn't get a real hot drink. We would have preferred a kettle, bigger cups and more milk and maybe a biscuit or two!
We were sight-seeing Munich, and the Anna is across street from Karlsplatz, the start of the 'old city', 5 blocks from Oktoberfest site, and next door to train station. Stayed for 2 nights, very comfortably.
We love thi hotel. The staff are friendly and professional. The area is relaxed and safe with a small number of interesting shops and right by the U bahn. It is possible to walk into the centre. Several people that we met referred to it as a village and it does feel like that. The rooms are beautifully furnished with antiques, all of them different, ours was spacious but some are rather small. Bathrooms tend to be compact but nevertheless comfortable. There are two restaurants that are part of the hotel - the Gandl and the Leher, each nice in it's own way. We ate twice at the Gandl and happily eat at the Lehel as well next time. We cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Munich. This was our second visit, hopefully we'll be back.
