“Lovely Hotel”

Great modern stylish hotel with fantastic bathrooms. The location is ideal for all the sights and the bar is lively and fun.The service is also very good.

Area recommendations
For shopping I would recommend the area around Marienplatz and the Residenz. However there are some funky boutiques in the Schwabing area. The Pintothek museum area is also impressive.

“Lovely small hotel with good service”

I wanted a hotel not too far from the altstadt and thus chose the Anna. It was a good small hotel for a weekend break. The room was small but had everything you would need and the minibar was only 1 euro for all items, which I thought was a bargain. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The breakfast was included in the price of the room and was a good selection of the usual items for a continental style. We had a couple of drinks at the bar and the can recommend the cocktails! The only downside was that there is no lounge for guests. The only public area is the bar/restaurant which is disappointing if you just want a coffee in a quiet setting.

“Great with one big caveat”

The hotel is in a great location (one block from the train station, on a major U- and S-bahn station and at one end of Marianplatz) and the staff is very friendly and helpful (but never ask them for a restaurant recommendation - they have no idea). The rooms are very stark but comfortable, if you do not mind living out of your suitcase because there are NO dresser drawers of any kind. The big caveat is that if you will be there on a Friday or Saturday night, make absolutely sure you do not get a room on the tram side of the building. The disco across the street is very loud and does not shut down until after 1:00am. Bad if you have to get up the next morning and need some sleep.

“Great location”

On S-Bahn from airport. Close to Alstadt and everything a tourist may want to do in Munich. Pleasant in-house dining

“Modern design hotel in great location”

Conveniently situated between the Hautbanhof train station and Karlsplatz S/U-bahn station, this was a fantastic hotel within walking distance of all the major tourist sites. The staff are extremely helpful with all requests. The rooms are modern, comfortable and well soundproofed from any street noise. I will definitely stay there on any future visits to Munich.

Altstadt - old city - is full of interesting historical sites, museums, restaurants and shopping.

“Fantastic location, clean room, helpful staff”

My coworkers were stuck in a dirty, poor hotel in the questionable district south of the main train station. I was sitting much prettier in this posh location. Double shower heads. Free internet. Breakfast buffet was also very good.

“Excellent”

A very stylish hotel in a minimalist sort of way.My wife loved it.Very well located for strolling into the altstadt.Could not fault the friendly service,the quality of the room or the breakfasts

“Great location (might be noisy in Summer)”

Great location right next to Karlsplatz (Stachus) station and a 5 minute walk to Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Well-equipped room, comfortable bed, great shower and good service. Internet was included in the room rate. I was staying at the front of the hotel, on the second floor. The noise from the pedestrian road below lasted up to midnight and beyond. The windows shut to cut out the noise, although you would be relying on the air conditioning in Summer to keep you cool if the windows are shut. The breakfast was good, both in terms of variety and quality. There are plenty of places to get a bite to eat in Karlsplatz station and there is a Starbucks within spitting distance (out of the hotel, turn left and it is on the right-hand side).

“very nice hotel”

The is a very nice, high tech, modern hotel. It is right down the street from the train station and very easy to get to. The rooms were clean and modern. The breakfast is excellent. The hotel is a ten minute walk to the Glockenspiele. Along the way there is many things to see. I recomend taking the beer and brewery tour. We had a great time. The staff @ the hotel is friendly and they will store your bags for you upon check out or help with directions. Overall very nice hotel and we will stay there again.

“I always return”

This is not my first stay. This hotel is good value for the money. Rooms are up to date and very comfortable. Best part is location and the restaurant/bar. Decent food, long hours of service and very popular.
