“Awful hotel, stay elsewhere”

Unfortunately I did'nt have a good stay at this hotel. The room smelt and obviously had not been used for some time. The corridors were very noisy, and I could'nt get a decent nights sleep. The staff on the front desk were rude and unhelpful and needed prompting. Breakfast was un-appealling and the staff slow to prepare breakfast. The room was overpriced for what was offered, I would only stay 1 night if you have no other alternative.

“Vits and Vision”

What sets this hotel apart from the rest is the true ecological standard that proprietors Kamat family stand for. From the passive heating and cooling design of the hotel right down to the recycled material for the pens. Secondly, the staff are very thoughtful and addressed my needs immediately. Third the complimentary breakfast buffet has more than Indian, continental items but health choices that are trustworthy for the foreign traveler: carrot juice, cucumber juice, and sprouts to name a few. Dosa bar, idly, uttapam, two coconut chutneys and delicious sambhar. Pancakes, omelets to order, fruit cuts, yoghurts (special and regular) as well. Close to airport , complimentary transfers, generous with late check outs. Questions? Negatives: while my plane was 5 hours late, I did not see a properly uniformed staff member greet me. The gentleman led me to a car port where a uniformed employee did come. I called Vits to confirm the identity of the un-uniformed man and the Vits employee answered the phone with Hello instead of identifying the hotel. When I arrived at the hotel, I talked to the front desk clerk who immediately summoned the operator for a talk. So, they immediately attended to this. Otherwise I was given a free upgrade and complimentary wi-fi. So I was satisfied that correct action was taken.

“Very comfortable place to stay”

This was my last stop on India and I treated myself to an upgrade. The service was very prompt, helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and pleasant to relax in with a shower stall, blow dryer, even a place to sit and read or eat. I enjoyed my 2 nights there very much and slept really well.

Traveller's tip
Since this hotel was on the north side of a city with busy traffic I had waited for the travel desk to open (at 9am) to help arrange a way to the southern end of the city to sight see. In retrospect I would've just headed out early in a cab. The travel desk would've been more valuable if I had needed help booking the trip/activities, but I ended up delaying the start of my day by a little while.

“Good experience”

The hotel was as expected. Good, clean and comfortable. Good pick up/drop off at the airport. Recommended.

“always stay at this hotel”

This is the perfect hotel for late arrival. I always stay at this hotel when I arrive late in the evening. It is conveniently located minutes from the airport and the bar is open til 1am

“Reasonable accommodation at an affordable price”

This was my 2nd stay in the past 6 months. Although not in a great location, the hotel is conveniently close to the airport and rates include airport transfers. The hotel offers reasonable value for money in a city which is often over-priced

“Nice for Business Trip”

This hotel is known as 'Lotus Suites' by the Taxi drivers. The housekeeping service is excellent. Also the atrium is nicely designed which includes swimming pool and restuarants. Overall service is good except front desk activities as they are not that fast. And the room rate in the higher range in terms of overall service.

Traveller's tip
Do not take blue taxi as those are really expensive instead take three wheelers. Also there is one nice veg restaurant located next to hotel - you can try that one.

“Good business hotel near airport”

Hotel was conveniently located (very near Int'l airport). Rooms are spacious and clean, hotel staff friendly and helpful. Gym facilities are very good.
