Front desk service was inconspicuous by absence. Firstly, the counter clerk could not locate my Hotels.com booking. I had to show her using their computer. While this is still acceptable to me, what was positively offensive was when, totally ignoring me, she initiated a telephone discussion apparently with her evening shift colleague. The discussion went on for over minutes when I had to politely remind her of my presence.
I suspect she did not do this out of malice but is simply not aware of the front desk courtesy. The rest of the hotel, more or less, operates at the same level.
