“Good Price, Good Hotel but...”

With an interesting take on an "open" bathroom where the bathroom itself is separated from the room by just glass wall, the hotel itself was fine for the price and considering the location. Such designs can be an inconvenience, however, fixable with a curtain that can be used when needed. In other words, you can't have guests and use of bathroom at the same time. The free breakfast was elaborate and done professionally. The biggest disappointment came from the location (metro construction) and especially cab drivers who were controlling the scene and not willing to run on meter unlike what one expects in Mumbai. They were blaming the hotel but it really was them doing it. However, the hotel did not do anything about it. I was lucky to find an empty cab that happened to be there, but this can be a problem.

“So very impressed!!!”

This was my second stay at this hotel and it was just as good as the first time (which was just terrific on all levels) - staff, service, rooms and food! There really isn't much around the hotel but once in the hotel, it is absolutely wonderful. I have decided to stay there every time I am back in Mumbai. Great value for money!

“Couldn't fault The Residency”

We booked the Residency for it's convenient location close to the airport. We arrived in Mumbai in the very early hours of the morning and despite the fact our flight was more than an hour late, we were met by the very comfortable complimentary transfer. We were given a room on the 7th floor and were surprised by spaciuosness of the lovely clean suite. We transferred to a prebooked (more expensive and supposedly better quality) hotel the following day. We wished we hadn't. We cancelled our future booking at the Colaba hotel and re-booked the Residency. Once again our flight was very late and we were again met by the polite and smiling Prassad of the Residency. I have stayed in many hotels in India and have paid a lot more for a lot less than I received at the Residency. Free airport transfer Wonderful soft bed Great complimentary breakfast big, clean bathroom the best masala chai we tasted this trip Wonderful helpful staff The location is not great for sight seeing, but for transiting or if you are prepared to be out of this city, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough

“Good for Business Near Airport”

5-night stay --Attended a conference at the nearby Airport Hilton -- Residency Hotel was a good alternative to high rates at Hilton -- it was about 10-15 minutes away by car which is about 250 rupees. If you want to be in town, don't stay here unless you are ready for long taxi or train rides back and forth -- but, I was vey satisfied given my agenda. Breakfast buffett every morning was great - staff helpful and friendly -- hotel will arrange car for you to airport or wherever you want to go. Room was good, clean - large screen sat TV -- very nice -- only problem is Internet not available most of my stay - so if you depend on that for work, be careful.

“Good hotel for the airport”

The room and bathroom were lovely and quite big for a hotel near both Mumbai Airports. The airport pick up was there waiting for us and the hotel was only 10-15 mins from the airports. That and the drop-off were included in the price of the room along with a buffet breakfast. Breakfast included toast, cooked dishes, puri, fruit, chips, cereal and eggs as well as drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In fact the only problem we had was that the room was cold when we arrived at 11pm and couldn't be warmed up but there was a duvet so that helped!

“an oasis in the desert !”

We arrived at Mumbai on a hot and humid afternoon and after fighting our way through the taxi drivers piled into an anciant cab with the cases plonked on the roof and in the open boot.The driver was completely lost but eventually we found the hotel, it was situated in a side road that was more like a market but the first impression was one of an oasis in the desert, gleaming marble and black designer chandeliers with friendly and efficiant staff.The room was a large modern bedroom with everything you may need although the bathroom with clear glass door was a little strange, just sing loudly when using the facilities!we ate in the resaurant that night, indian buffet with very helpful waitors who explained every dish and encouraged you to try everything.We left at 3am and the hotel provided a free taxi back to the airport, very impressed.the only thing we would say is thet the towels need replacing and a few items in the room neede a little better maintenance but the staff tried hard.If we return to Mumbai we will certainly use this hotel again.

“Value for Money !”

1.The Hotel is at a vantage location close to both International and Domestic Airports. 2. The rates for Rooms including (Breakfast and Airport Transfers) were cheaper when booked on expedia, while it was expensive when i called up the hotel directly. 3. The rooms were well maintained, comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. 4.The staff were courteous and very professional, we requested for a late checkout since we had a late night flight out of mumbai and the front office clerk gave us till 6pm. This hotel is great VFM for people like us who can never compromise on room comfort and clean bathrooms. But the breakfast could offer more variety ! Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends abroad and in India. Check it out !

“Value for money”

Great room, poor bathroom (strange shower, only glass doors), no outgoing telephone facility, internet has to be paid (despite contrary information). If you have work in Andheri region, then it is conveniently locates

“Hotel tres bien mais situation pas top”

Bonjour, Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel tres sympa et bien tenu. De plus il dispose d'une navette gratuite pour l’aéroport. La chambre est très bien et bien décorée, elle n'a rien a envier aux hôtels Européens. Franchement pour Mumbai c'est un tres bon rapport qualité prix. Deux points négatifs que nous avons constaté: - quand on prend une douche on inonde presque toute la salle de bain en plus le sol est glissant. - le matin avant notre départ nous avons vu une tache sur le drap au niveau des pieds. Le drap avait l'air propre mais une tache fait tache surtout pour un tel hôtel ( je pense que le drap a été lavé mais la tache a résisté au lavage mais c'est inacceptable d'utiliser un tel drap ). La situation n'a rien a voir avec Colaba mais l'avantage c'est qu'il est a 15 mn de l'aeroport.
